Default Does Regal Rose Ink match CS?

I just got Regal Rose ink and I don't think it matches the Regal Rose cardstock. It seems much brighter and maybe a little oranger. I think of Regal Rose as a rather elegant, mellow color and the ink is so bright. Am I alone in this opinion?? (FYI - I use Neenah Classic Crest paper - maybe that is causing the difference. Does is match better with SU paper?)

I've had this same problem. I even got it replaced, but it's still AWFUL! I had the marker, and it's as you mentioned: elegant & mellow. It matches the cap, but the classic ink is exactly as you described it, and it DOES match the cover, but the ink pad cover and marker cap aren't matching. Does this make any sense?

had same problem love the cs but hate the ink. I use versamark pad when I am stamping on the cs and avoid trying to stamp it on white cs. Hope that makes sense.

I've had the same problem with pink passion. I wind up using Pixie Pink ink with the pink passion paper! Irritates me.

I notice this only with the classic ink. My craft ink matches much better.

My friend was just making a card and we noticed this this as well. The ink doesn't match the cardstock at all. We just thought it was her pad, but now it seems others don't match either.

I love the color of regal rose card stock but the ink pad was driving me nuts. Mine was actually a very bright sort of strawberry red color. I squirted out about half of my regal rose reinker and added about half of my pretty in pink reinker and mixed them. I rinsed out my stamp pad, blotted it really well and let it sit overnight to dry out some. The next day I reinked the pad with my mixture and now it matches the card stock perfectly.

If you decide to try this, play with the mixture some because I kept adding pretty in pink a bit at a time and testing it until the color was right. I'm very pleased with the results.
