Default I finally got Stickles! *MERGED*

I found some at Archivers the other day, I went in to use my coupon and low and behold found a section with Stickles. I had an order ready to go thru an online store, I am glad I saved on shipping, and they were only 2.29. I love them!! I have put them on tons of my already made cards and they look amazing. Now I see what everyone was talking about, they are addictive! Well, I just wanted to share my good news! LOL!

Congrats! I know how you feel. I was about to order some online when I got back from vacation, but while on vacation in TX I ventured into a great store called Recollections and they had tons for only $1.99 !! I was so excited! I can't wait to try them.

What happens if we use our Heat gun with stickles? Is it better to do it while wet or dry? Or just not at all, TIA

I'm glad to hear I can dry stickles with my heat tool... I played with them and they take FOREVER to dry!

I have had mine for months... I just don't know WHAT to do with them!

I'm wondering if the paper won't burn? I was sort of trying it with mine, and as soon as I saw smoke I freaked out and stop immediately. Didn't want to mess up my swap. Nothing happened, but I'm just wondering if nothing will happen to it???

Did you try heat-gunning the stickles on a piece of scrap paper? That way you could keep heating it without worry for your swap. Personally when I see smoke I get a little concerned about what is getting released into the air for me to breathe in.

Stickles is a glitter glue...that's the best way I can think of to describe it. Here is a pic of a card with them...I used them on the flowers.

Default Stickles

This may have been asked before, but I've not been able to find it.

I read somewhere on here that someone bought them at Hobby Lobby. I went yesterday, and I don't think that mine carries them. I couldn't find them.

I bought some on e-bay and got them today. I LOVE THIS STUFF. But my question is, is there anywhere other than the internet where you have purchased them, and if so where, and what do they cost?

I think I need them all. Ok, well, I don't NEED them all, but I'd sure like to have them all.

Thanks for you information.

www.scrapbookpal.com

That is the best place in the world. They have Stickles, and Primas, and free shipping for any orders over $25. Also, use the code SHOWS if you want a free Cat's Eye ink pad.

I love stickles and the look they produce on a card, but my kids love to craft too and I'm way too cheap to let them use that kind of stuff so I found a 4oz. bottle of glitter glue at michael's for $4.99 and used my 40% off coupon. I find myself using these too because they are just as nice.

Do you NEED Stickles! Hee, hee! Of COURSE you do! :-D You need EVERY little fun thing that is mentioned on SCS, that's how we all get ourselves in trouble! Someone talks about it, makes a card with it, and then we ALL have to have it and the manufacturers really should be paying SCS for all this free advertising! (Then it wouldn't be free advertising, but REALLY!)

I just got three yesterday that I bought on e-bay. I really like the candy care, it's red and gold glitter, but I really like the Starry Night too. It's dark purple and dark blue with silver in it. I also got Frosted Lace, but I need to play with it on some dark paper.

I just want them all. I really like the fruit punch, I think that is going to have to be the next one that I get.

I would suggest a clear/white glittery one (I have icicle) and a yellow. I use the icicle for covering any image to give it some "pop" and I use the yellow for flower centers.

I get my stickles at my LSS, they don't have a large selection but are always getting in different colors. I pay $1.99 for them. I think I have every color now but the different shades of green. They are just the perfect thing to give your card that extra *sparkle*!

Default stickles...

I am going to Michaels this week to see what they are exactly!
Do you use it as glue but just for sparkles?

Have you ever had trouble getting the glitter part to come out of the bottle? I got the Christmas Red and clear glue will come out, but no red glitter. I bought it from an ebay store (very reliable and all the other bottles I got are fine). Any tips?

Usually that means some of the glitter got stuck and clogged it up a little...just stick a needle or pin into the tip and then try again...it should work just fine! If it doesn't...then I have no clue! Good luck!

And if this doesn't work...I've snipped a bit off the tip with my scissors to get a little bit of a bigger opening and Presto! It worked!

My red clogged a bit and the pin trick didn't work, but snipping the tip solved it!
