Default Has anyone tried Caren D'Ache watercolor pencils or crayons?

She has some watercolor crayons and some wax watercolor soluble crayons out and I am wondering what people liked or disliked about them...

I have what I think are the wax watercolour soluble crayons...mine are old but the wrappers on them say Neocolour II and looking online, I think that's what they are. I've been very happy with them, but I'd have to say that they probably need to be stored somewhere other than near a window - mine are crumbling a bit after 8 years. They're highly pigmented and I find them great for colouring on fabric especially. Caran d'Ache is a Swiss company, just by the way.

I have a small set of Neocolor II (the water soluble version of Neocolor) and I just love them! They are extremely versatile, both dry and wet. They are heavily pigmented, but you can play with the amount of water and get different concentrations all the way up to and including a watercolor look from them. They come in beautiful colors.

And the company stands behind their products a few of mine started to break and since I'd only purchased them this past spring, they replaced the entire set!

I'm taking a class at my stamp store using these products so I am anxious to get started playing with them .
