Default Ink Potion 9

Has anyone got any suggestions on how to use this product? I have a bottle and have tried it multiple times but I just don't seem to "get" it... either that, or perhaps it doesn't work very well.

Yes, I'd love to know how to use this stuff too. Thanks for posting this question. Right now, I just feel like I wasted my money on this product...another craft impulse buy...

I know, right? Tsukineko usually has such high quality products so I'm holding out hope that there is a REASON I want to have this product.

Default ink potion

What is it and what is it supposed to do? I hope it's not like the ill-fated perfect ink refresher stuff that I fell for a few years back. It refreshed their bottom line, not my ink pads.

Basically, the ink was created to "encourage" ink to run after it's been stamped. Not sure how much better it would be than just plain water. If you stamped an image and then spritzed it with this solution, you would get a look similar to this:

I primarily bought it to try as a blending solution with my prismacolor pencils. I usually use Gamsol but wanted to see if they work with this stuff as well. Unfortunately, I haven't even tried it out yet!

Ok, so I went and did a little research and apparently, the difference compared to water as that it won't cause the paper to buckle or curl when it's dry so that could be great for getting the spritzed watercolor effect.

bringing this thread back - as I found this in my little craft room as I was going through some stuff. I know I saw a demo on it at a convention - which is why I bought it. For the life of me though - can't remember the details. I read the other replies - can you use this with stumps instead of Gamsol? If so - that would be a good use for it! Looking for info!
