Second question
My sidekick recently died.....i have the original sizzix, and the bigshot. But I like the smaller sidekick for somethings (especially if I am going to a crop) Should I replace my sidekick with another sidekick? Or get a cuttlebug?

check out my post "Best machine to Use Nestabilities In" under Product talk. These awesome ladies gave me lots of ideas for using it with my Big Shot.

What about the for crops, is the cuttlebug very heavy, I liked my sidekick for the portablity of it to take with me. I know I take my bigshot with but when you only have a 4 foot space at crops it was nice to have something that was smaller to bring with.
There is some great tips in your thread though for recipes to use the nesties in my bigshot though Thanks!

Cuttlebug is not heavy and has a built in little carrying handle. Love my bug!

scrapbookoutpost.com had them pretty cheap and free shipping over $50.00 and they had them in stock. I think someone here has that company. Mine came really fast too with a gift inclosed. I was happy.
is the cuttle bug easy to take with you? Can you toss it in a bag or something? Does anyone know how big it is compared to the sidekick? Also I think the roller part of it is a bit wider than the side kick. Can anyone tell me that for sure?

I brought my cuttlebug to a friends house the other day. It was so easy to transport. It has a handle on it & the sides close up for travel. I measured the section you put your paper through and it is just shy of 6". I don't have any other die cut machine, so I can't compare it to others, but I did a bunch of research before I chose the cuttlebug as my machine of choice.

As for your question about the Nestabilities. I have all of the rectangles, ovals and the plain circles and squares. As soon as I get the money, I plan to invest in the scaloped circles and squares. The rectangles are what I seem to be using the most. They are great for embossing card fronts, cutting out windows and overall layering. I got the rectangles first because I thought they'd be the most used & I was right. JIL

While she does not offer free shipping, ucutathome.com has great c/s & killer prices on nesties. So far they've worked great in my CB. Do you have Michaels, etc close by so you could feel the weight of the CB? Maybe ask to take it out of the pkg to get a good idea of what it's like?
