Default if you scrapbook....

ok. I'm not whining or complaining...but want to know what you're doing.

If you had a SU 12x12 paper dependence issue....how are you handling it?

has your stock supply started running out?
are you using designer papers for your scrapbook background?
are you buying other brands of paper? (and what brands)
are you limiting your solid colored backgrounds to the ones available?
are you shifting to 8.5x11 albums?

frustrated and not sure where to turn,
kathy

I still use SU 12x12 paper. It wasn't discontinued-it's still available in all colors, it's just that now many of them are packaged in multi color packages, which hasn't been a problem for me.

Default Luv Bazzill

I've always relied on Bazzill C/S for my scrapbooking. The SU! paper is just a bonus that I used when I stamped items for my scrapbook pages or to use in matching DP and accents or matting photos. Bazzill is available in lots of places online or your LSS. I realize all the colors may not match the SU! colors if you have your heart set on those colors but I think you'll find some you like. I can't imagine scrapbooking without Bazzill! Hope you'll consider trying it for your scrappin' pages....

LOL Kathy - I've been scrapbooking for over a decade and I seriously doubt I ever COULD run out of paper! I just got out the tape measure, and I have a shelf of non-SU paper that would be 35-inches tall, plus my SU cardstock and designer papers fill my Crop-In-Style Navigator (rolling tote). I've always bought the SU 12x12 CS in variety packs, except for a few (Red, Celery) that are still available in individual colors. Believe me, it hasn't been a problem... but I'm sorry you're frustrated and wish I could help.

Hugs!

thank you ladies. yes, I'm really struggling with this. I find myself buying more designer paper from my LCS, and then being disappointed when I get home because my "things" don't match. Guess I'll have to start carrying color swatches in my purse....or convert to brazzil.

I have bought a couple of packages of the assorted 12x12. I still have loads of individual colors because I used to really stock up. I also have a little cardstock sampler ring that I can bring with me when I go to a LSS and see some patterned paper that I cannot live without.

For the most part, though, I use only SU cardstock and designer paper.
