Default cuttlebug folder and embossing ink
Don't know if this has been done before, but I tried swiping a Cuttlebug folder with embossing ink before embossing. Then emboss the background with clear/colored embossing powder. It's easier to color the raised portions of the card later. I'm sure there are more possibilities than I can think of.
