Cheery Lynn Schooner and Mayflower dies

Hi-I recently purchased these two dies, but am having a creative block. I haven't seen any samples or example cards on line via google/pinterest etc, made with these dies. Any ideas where I might locate an idea? Thank you!

There are several ideas if you google "sailing cards". Not specifically for what you have, but perhaps something you can build on?

With the Mayflower, what about a gratitude/Autumn theme? Pilgrims? Not sure.

I guess my question would be, what made you decide to buy them? I usually have some kind of idea when I buy things. Not always, but usually. Not criticizing, by the way.

Well I bought them because I seem to really be focused on dies currently. I like the boats/ships, they are masculine and I thought I could maybe make a card using twine to reflect rope used on boats and maybe something like white cloth to get the sail to billow.

I like the idea of the Mayflower being for Thanksgiving.

Ocean County - I really like your idea of using the twine! Sounds like your creativity is there after all! Not sure how large the dies are, but could you use wide white ribbon (like satin?) for the sails? Just spitballing.
I like dies too. So much fun to use on cards. I like the idea of making a more masculine card that doesn't involve fishing or hunting, too. ;)
