Graphic 45...which set?
Hi All
I have never used Graphic 45 papers *gasp*
I keep seeing them when I shop, and I've seen completed projects that I love. Not sure which set to purchase though. I'm thinking something Christmas, since that is the season upon us. Or maybe just something general.
Suggestions? Which pack do you love the most?

I hated Graphic 45 paper. It always seemed to busy and then something clicked and 3 weeks ago I started loving this line. I only have two pads. Mothergoose and A time to Flourish.
Im going to purchase Mon Amour to make a Vday mini.

I'll have to check those out I'm not sure that I'm crazy about the muted Christmas line. I usually like the brighter more cheerful colors. Maybe a different theme would be a better place to start.
Thank you for the suggestions

My favorite was A Proper Gentleman - made the most beautiful, classic, masculine cards with this set.

That Artisan Style collection is drool worthy! Somewhere between Art Deco and Arts and Crafts. I'm not a huge Victorian fan, but I plan to get the Raining Cats and Dogs ephemera collection for some junk journals I'm making.

Ohh. That Artisan Style is pretty. I like blacks and browns. And the greens and blues are in hues I like as well.
The Raining Cats and Dogs collection has a calico pattern that reminds me of a skirt I had when I was little
I'm thinking I will buy a Christmas set and one other and then just see where those take me. I've been in the mood to build a mini album and I think now is the perfect time to use Graphic 45!

I love Graphic 45. I wished that I could own every bit of it. But I cannot afford it all...lol I do have Typography, Mothergoose, By the Sea, Steampunk Spells, Sweet Sentiments, A Place in Time, and some others that I can not remember right off. Some was won, so was a gift, some were purchased on clearance at the Scrapbook Expo fall before last. The other paper line I love just as much is Marion Smith. But my favorites of hers are no longer available.
I personally think that graphic 45 is best with mini albums. It is like the paper was designed specifically for mini albums.

Wow!! You have a number of collections Thanks for your input. I'll keep you all posted with what I decide on and what I end up making. I checked the "scrapbook store" while I was in my home town today. They didn't have any. I'll be purchasing online, so I'll have to wait for shipping *sigh*...

I am working on a calendar album for a gift with A Time To Flourish set. It's the first time I've ever worked with this product line before.
I am really new at it. Here is what I have noticed though. I purchase one 8x8 pad, and after watching tutorials on YouTube, found out that I didn't own enough of the product. It lends itself to either making photo albums, or a heavy layered look with lots of embellishments. So I ended up buying the tags and banner pack, the 6x6 additional paper pad, the journaling card pack, etc. On and on it grows. So, in my newbie humble opinion, it is an expensive addiction.
It's real eye candy, but expensive. Course, I have enough calendar materials now to make one for every family member LOL.

I have only 2 times seen them in my local stores. There is one at the HL near me and it is By the Sea. I begged them to order different ones and they still haven't. The Michaels near me had the Place in Time and another one that I have, but I can't remember the name of it right now. It's got the Statue of liberty pieces on it. I don't know why they wouldn't do an area like they do Tim Holtz. I mean it's great paper. It would sell.
Where I usually get them cheaper is Joann's Online. I wait until they are 50% off and I load up my cart and buy at least $50 worth so the shipping is free. That way I get a couple of different styles and I get the 12 x 12 and the 8x8. It's a tiny amount of tax but at 50% off, It works for me. Usually a 12 x12 and and 8x8 is enough to make a mini album with and I have scraps left for cards and layouts. Good luck.

So just an FYI. Joann's has a sale on their graphic 45 right now. It's not 50% it's 40%, but the shipping is only $3. There is a small tax. They don't have all of the G45 on there, but they actually have a pretty good selection.

I loooove graphic 45 =) Their papers are perfect for my mixed media canvases. They started to release some of their retired sets as 12x12 sets that come with a sticker sheet and chipboard pieces my fave happens to be two of those. Once upon a springtime and steam punk debutante. By the time i first discovered Graphic 45 I was only able to get a few single sheets from those sets, so im really happy they were released again. I also find a lot of their sets work well together due to similar colors and intensity of the colors. I hope one day they rerelease their nutcracker christmas set, it's so pretty.
This is a canvas i made using their its raining cats and dogs set.

Fun!! your mixed media sets are great I can see how the Graphic 45 papers would be great for mixed media pieces. Art journals too I would imagine!
