Grand Madison Window or Small Madison??

I just need to know, for those of you who have purchased any of the Madison Window dies, which one do you recommend as the most useful?
I hate to spend $18 if I can make the $11 one work!!

Your opinion please!!!
Grand or Small???

Thanks in advance!!

I personally prefer the large, though I do have both. I feel more will "fit" into the large window than the small. However, I am sure there are others that prefer the small...just a personal preference.

The large window is not all that big. After seeing them both I chose the large one.

Here's a picture of the windows on A2 size cards. Hopefully this will help you make a decision.Attachment 341974

Colleen -- thank you! I was wondering the same thing and your visual really helped me make a decision. It was very nice of you to take the time to post that.

You're welcome. I had a couple of test cuts that I just plopped down on some card blanks, so it wan't a big deal to do it.

I really like the larger one, I like to be able to peak at scene backgrounds but the small one allows for more on the front of the card, like a sentiment or just layers. cna't go wrong with either.

i'm no help. i got both. sorry

The 'grand' definitely!!!

I have the small but you can make a big picture window by cutting off two edges and matching them up.

Which ever size you decide to buy eventually you will probably buy the other size too

I have the small. I like the proportion of that window size on an A2 card.

Same here.

I've got both and like both but find the larger one gives a bit more leeway when trying to find stamping scenes that will fit in behind them. I now want the new coordinating window box and flowers for it too :-)

Thanks for this post. I am just getting ready to order. I am defintately sticking with the smaller one for my cards....

Karol: If ur budget allows, get the Grand Madison. Have you looked at
kittie747 cards in the members gallery? It might help u decide. You can even email her for her advice. She is very nice and is an expert using this die.
