Default glue for vellum?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but i couldnt find it anywhere. Can anyone help me out Im trying to glue a large piece of vellum to a card and I don't want to see the glue through the vellum, of course. Thanks in advance.
Colleen

PS I have had success with the Xyron but would like a different option...

Hey Colleen -

I taught a class last weekend and one of my students had this in her bag so I asked her about it. She said it works like a charm! I've never used it but it's on my list of things to try!

Yup, I was going to suggest a spray adhesive also. I bought a 3M spray adhesive at Michaels that worked really well... I think most spray adhesives are clear and will work well with vellum.
In my experience, Xyron works best - but those darn cartridges are so spendy! Xyron adhers the vellum smoothly -- where spray adhesive may give you some bumps. Maybe you can use a brayer to smooth it out.. I usually live with the bumps and call them "texture".

Do you use both SU vellum and glue stick?

I've never tried using a glue stick with vellum. I'll try this and see how it works for me.

3M (Scotch) makes a vellum tape. I have used it and it worked really well for me.If you use i right, it is invisible.

I use the Tombow vellum runner too. If needing to cover a large area I would go for the spray adhesive.

I use adhesive sheets. Since the adhesive covers it all, there's nothing to see.

I just attached some vellum last night with Glue Dots strips. It worked very well! I really can't see it (it is colored vellum so that may make a difference).
