Default repairing

I'm fairly new at stamping and have a problem and I'm hoping one of you talented and more knowledgeable people can help me. I bought a Stampin Up stamp set and I cut too close around the bottom when I cut it out. Now when I use the stamp, it wobbles... is there any way to repair this?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I messed up 2 stamps but learned how to cut them out now....lol.... I hope this makes sense.

Thank you in advance for any help....

Default Three options

1) The foam mounting cushion is a replacement for the layer that was messed up. You will need to peel off the remainder of the foam that is there. 8 or 10 seconds in the microwave helps if it doesn't come off at first try.

2) EZ Mount is cushion with a slick vinyl on one side. Again, replace the messed up layer. Adhere the EZ Mount. Now you can use those two stamps on an acrylic block handle (if you have one) instead of the wood.

3) Remove wood and cushion. Use double-sided tape to hold the rubber to an acrylic block. If you have an acrylic block available, this is the cheapest method.

I can't think of anything to do, but maybe someone else can.

I was thinking, talk to your demo, and see if she can get the rubber replaced. Stampin' Up! has been known to do that - if it's a current set, it would be worth a try.

I had this happen.
I got a piece of cushion and cut it BIGGER than the rubber on the side that was overcut. Then I just used a little oil to get the sticky to not be sticky anymore as it is exposed. It provides the perfect amout of cushion and the stamp is no longer wobbly. Does this make sense? If not let me know and I will try to explian it better.

I think there is some way to contact SU and get another stamp sent to you, but I have never done it. Maybe someone here knows. I think they only send the rubber, not the block, but I don't know for sure.

Sometimes, especially when you're new, you undercut the foam in an attempt to get as close to the image as possible. (I did this with my first two sets.) Does your foam slant a little toward the middle of the stamp? When I cut my stamps, I tilt the blades a titch outward. I sent you a PM as well. HTH

You know what? I have a non-SU! stamp that is undercut on one end, and it's a shamrock stamp so of course I want to use it again this year.

I think I'll get some excess rubber from my other trimming and prop it under there! Never thought of it! DOH! *smacks self on side of head*

Thanks for the tips, ladies!
