Quick Question Re: Ribbon Width

Hello, my DH is making me a ribbon holder tonight. But, I do not have any large ribbon spools at my house only regular size. I was wondering if someone could measure the width of the spool so he could make me one to fit both sizes.

I measured my spool of Stampin' Up grosgrain ribbon. If this is the one you're looking for, the width of the spool was approximately 5/8". The diameter of the spool was approximatel 4 1/4". Hope that helps.

Can you post a picture of the finished ribbon holder? And tell your husband he is one terrific guy
