Default flower embellishments

I have seen some really pretty flowers on cards here at SCS but can't seem to find them even at my LSS. Does anyone know of a comprehensive web source?
Thanks!

There are so many different sorts of flowers out there Kim, you might need to help us narrow it down! Can you show us an example of a card with the sort of flowers you want?

Try a fabric store - they'll probably be more expensive, but they'll have more of a selection, too. Good luck!

I am looking for a variety to choose from. I will try to find some examples when I have time. The joanns and michaels have limited supplies and usually carry the same ones. Thanks for the Prima suggestion, I checked out their site and they have a nice selection.

Default Best selection is your own

If you really want a great selection of flowers then make your own! It is quite easy to duplicate the Prima styles using die cut, punched, or hand-cut shapes and your own scrap papers.

I've had great success following the instructions on Valitasfreshfolds blog (or take a look at my blog for a slightly expanded set of instructions). I also love the "Hot off the press" fold & stack flower template which makes a variety of 3-dimensional flowers.

I buy mine on ebay. If you do a search for "prima flowers" on ebay, you'll find a large selection of the type of flowers we use on cards. Both Prima (the brand) and non-Prima.

Sometimes people will sell 25 of different colors to keep the cost down. That's how I like to buy them. I don't have the room to store the pretty bottles they often come in and it would take me FOREVER to use 100+ of any single color.

Your flowers and cards are beautiful ilina! I have lots of punches and even have a couple of books on the subject of making paper flowers. Unfortunately, what i don't have is time (sigh). So I usually end up ordering on-line. Someday when I retire maybe? Thanks for the ebay suggestion thats where i am headed.
