Default Using CB Folders is a Sizzix???

I just got a Cuttlebug Folder via a friend. I've heard you can use them in Sizzix? If so what add-ons would I need to purchase to make it work? Would I need an adapter or extra cutting mats? If anyone has done it can I have your "recipe" ? I'm sort of an airhead so I need to know exactly how you would stack these things as well. LOL BY the way my Sizzix is the old version.

Thanks for any advice you can offer! ;)

You just need the big thick magnetic adapter that sticks to the upper portion that pushes down on the mat (used for the Sizzlets or Quickutz). You just have to shift the mat over after the first "squeeze". Works perfect for me.

What works for me and the CB embossing folders in my sizzix big shot iis as follows: white platform, clear mat, CB folder, red flexible sizzix mat. That is all it takes and it comes out gorgeous everytime! I hope this helps! Mona

I have several CB folders and use my old red Sizzix all the time - I just need the adapter

I do not use a metal adapter of any sort. I do not know what that is? Just the solid white, clear plate, CB folder then red rubber /silicone mat. It works perfect everytime! LOL Thanks, Mona

I think they mean for the old Sizzix. It's called the Sizzix Press or the Original Sizzix. To use thinner dies or folders like the CB ones, the person needs a magnetic metal adapter called the system converter. If you are using a Big Shot/BIGKick, you don't need the magnetic metal adapter.
