Default Extended mats + cuttlebug + sizzix XL dies??

Ok so now there are extended plates.. so has anyone tried the XL dies in the cuttlebug like the larger pillow box and all of the wonderful cool sizzix box dies?

The CB extended plates aren't out yet. However, since the BigzXL dies fit through a CB and it's only the Sizzix extended plates that are too wide, my guess is that people will be able to use the BigzXL dies and the CB extended plates in their CBs.

Hi there

I have got a set of long plates for my Cuttlebug (from a UK store) and I use the long Bigz dies in my CB with no problems.

The extended Sizzix dies work fine in the Cuttlebug. Just take the Sizzix extended plates and cut about 1/4 inch off of the long side, as they're slightly too wide for the Bug. Or, wait until you can get the extended Cuttlebug plates.

Could you use 2 B plates edge to edge instead of an extended plate?

You can use two b plates side by side, but remember you have to have two sets-one for top & one for bottom. It would cost the same as the new extended mats. However, I have read that the spot where the two plates join leaves a seam. I would consider that not working because that would bother me.

I guess I'll just have to be patient - ugh!

Well you all have me totally confused! When you say "extended plates" I think of long plates/dies that are 10 - 12 inches. I use the sizzix long plates in my CB just fine. I cannot use the sizzix BIGZ dies in the CB because they are to wide. What am I missing?
