EK Success Powder tool

I just got mine but cannot get it open. Is there a trick? I took it out of the package. The directions say to remove the brush cap. Can't get the cap off. I've used my round rubbery jar opener thingy and still can't get it open. Help!

Never mind. That works every time. Just post and ask for help and voila...everything works.

Oh that thing was so hard to get off!! I kinda pulled mine off on the side first, like breaking open a water bottle. Now I just don't put that top back on at all!

Thanks Kathy. I thought it was just me! I did put it back on, but it went back on as hard as it came off, so next time I use it I will leave it off.

I push the top at an angle - with my thumb I think - and it pops off. When I go back into my craft room I'll double check how I place my hands. : )

Ha! I forgot it even had a top originally. So glad you finally got it working.

I have 2-1 for my workshop bag and 1 for use at home. One is really easy to get the cap on and off. The other is harder-sometime the cap cooperates any other times it takes a few 'magic words'. One of the caps seems slicker so I can't get a grip so use a rubber band.

I didn't have any trouble getting the cap off of mine but it doesn't seem like anything comes out when I use it. I've shaken it over the paper, swept the brush across the paper. The only time I think anything came out was when I took the actual brush head off to see if it was clogged - then I got it on the paper! It smells nice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Tap it straight up and down on the paper and then sweep it side to side. Mine takes a bit to get the powder to prime, but once it does, it flows through the bristles and leave a light coat of powder on the paper.

Glad to know it wasn't just me. I tried EVERYTHING to get that top off! I finally asked DD, and she got it right off and looked at me like I was nuts. lol
