I've got the Sizzix system too. I'd love to know what the thoughts are on Pazzles and Wishblade.

I have the Wishblade, and love it for cutting alphas. I know it can do way more than what I use it for... I've got Adobe Illustrator and I'm trying to draw scalloped circles, squares, etc. so I don;t have to buy all of the new marvy punches coming out There are a lot of groups online where people create and share cutting files too. I need to check there and see if anyone has created them and save myself some work :-D

The Klik-N-Kut can cut thin chipboard, whereas the others cannot, but join a few Yahoo groups dedicated to these machines. Several that I belong to have documents comparing the differences among the machines.... A few I recommend are "Klic-N-Kut" and "Wishblade". Both have cutter comparisons and tutorials in the files section.

I did use the Pazzles for that (Pirate Party title on page in my gallery) and the font was one that was loaded when I got it so I could check tonight which one it was. My "We Got Snow" pages were also designed with the Pazzles....both the title and all of the snowflakes.

I find the Pazzles very easy to do titles, weld (flow together) words, do outlines, cut existing files that I get on the internet. BUT the software WINSIGN or soemthing like that is pretty complex and I am no computer slouch. It can do a lot more than I have done and I think you can "score" and emboss with a pen....I haven't tried those yet.

I got mine from The Scrappin Path. They have a good website and they know the machines pretty well. They were very nice to deal with. My DH bought it for me as a birthday gift and he researched all of the cutters and choose the Pazzles. I am just getting started with it and I really like it. But again the software is serious stuff.

I think the Scrappin Path hosts a Cutter comparision group on yahoo. I would really recommend contacting them. They are in WA state - Gig Harbor is the town I think.

Hope that helps!

I do agree with the others, and I would buy a Klik-N-Kut if I did not already have the Wishblade. It is a bit more expensive, so you need to think about your needs and budget....

I am learning the Wishblade also... and agree the Scrappin Path place is great!! They are the ones I'm doing the online classes with and they have been really helpful. Paper Threads is also another place to shop that is great!! In the forums, She has a great chart with all the machines and what they can and can't do, so you can base what you are going to use the machine for, and which one would be a best match for your needs.

I just bought a Pazzles mini about 2 months ago - I absolutely love it. I find myself daydreaming at work of scrapbook pages and cards with all kinds of diecuts....flowers, words, letters, hearts, circles...oh, sorry, I drifted off again! My DH did all the research and bought it for me as a gift (awwhhh). My mom was visiting a few weeks ago and needed some circles cut out of freezer paper for a quilting project. I mentioned that my Pazzles could cut them for her instead of her having to cut them out with scissors - sure enough, perfect 1-in circles for her applique! I am still playing around with it but what I have seen I love.

You could look at this comparison chart that was created it is pretty good at comparing all the machines and focusing on what your individual needs are.

I have the Craft Robo which I bought because it will cut straight from Illustrator and I recently purchased the 15 inch KNK for larger and thicker projects.

Good luck in your choices there is alot to look into!!:-D
Enjoy!
