Help needed with Tack N Peel

I put Tack N Peel on my acrylic blocks last summer (I think) and it is starting to look nasty. It is still very tacky but dirty. My DD used one and got ink on the sticky part and it will not come off, so now it is very difficult to see through my clear blocks.

Any suggestions on cleaning it? Or how do I completely remove the Tack N Peel so I can start over?

The Tsukineko website says to replace the TnP if it becomes stained and loses it's tackiness, but they do not state how to remove it. Have you tried pulling it up? What about trying Undo on it? Undo loosens up adhesives on cards so I can pull them apart if I make a mistake. If you are planning on replacing it, try cleaning the stained area with Stewart Superior cleaner first, then rinse well with water, and see if it is still tacky after that. That cleaner removes almost all staining from clear stamps, so it might work on the TnP because it is like a clear stamp, I'm just not sure what it might do to the tackiness. Although if you get it on the tacky part of a clear stamp and rinse it off it is still tacky.... Just rambling here. I'll be anxious to see what/how you end up doing - I have been unmouting my SU stamps, and for those that are mainly line art images, I am just using TnP as my mounting method.

I know it sounds a bit simple, but have you tried running it under warm water? all the fuzzy nasties wash away and it is all tacky and nice again.

Tsukineko finally got back to me and they said to try Staz On cleaner -- tried that and everything else I could think of and the stains were still there. So I removed it by just pulling it off! I was amazed that it came off that easy. Now I'll replace it. DD will not be allowed to use it for awhile.

Thank you for the advice!
