Question about Prismacolor pencils??

Does anyone know if Joanne's carries these? I know Michael's does, but I have a Joanne's coupon. They aren't coming up on the website search. If anyone knows, let me know. Thanks!

I don't think they do. I bought mine at Michaels and I checked out our JoAnns before I bought the ones I have.

My local Joann (which *isn't* a small one) doesn't carry any artist supplies like pencils or papers, but when I visited the one a bit further away, they did. Odd!!

The Joanns I go to in Chicago (Elston Ave.) does carry art supplies but they are on the opposite side of the store from the stamp/scrapbook supplies. They do Prismacolor pencils in sets and individually.

Yes they do, they carry them just the same way that Michael's and all art stores does, in a large open case with single pencils sectioned off by color. In it in the actual artist supply section, where you would find pil paints, watercolor supplies, canvas supples etc. They also have the sets but I found the CHEAPEST place to get them was jerrysartarama.com...they have them in Open stock (which means you can pick your colors rather than the sets) and they are only 99 cents each! Most places are $1.29-$1.49 each. Plus they sell the stumps there as well (if you need them). Oh and if you need the list of Prisma pencil colors that match Stampin Up colors you can find it on this thread. HTH:mrgreen:

so much for proof reading....It is in the artist supply section with oil paints, not pil paints. ARGH!

I'm sorry you miss the "city". I'm sure there are many goods things about the burbs.....it is just not for me either. Did you by chance go to Stampology? I love the classes there.
