There aren't really any exact matches between SU and Distress Inks. I absolutely LOVE Distress Inks, so I use them even if the match isn't exact. What I usually do is take an SU color that's close and distress the edges with the color I want to use (I use one of those wood handled tool thingies with the foam applicator... I know they have a name...). It gives it some texture/depth that I like and brings the colors close enough to a match for my tastes. I just made swatches using every single Distress Ink color (I have them all, it's an addiction, LOL) and I just tried comparing them to my SU Color Coach and the CLOSEST (by no means exact) matches that I can find to the current colors are:
Old Paper /// River Rock
Spiced Marmalade /// Pumpkin Pie
Barn Door /// Real Red
Brushed Corduroy /// Soft Suede
Pumice Stone /// Basic Gray
I usually use Spun Sugar on SU's Pink Pirouette, Spun Sugar is brighter but I really like the way they look together. I think Weathered Wood is close to the retired SU color Bordering Blue. I love using all of the Distress Inks and I generally only use SU cardstock, so I just make it work! Have fun playing with the Distress Inks!
