Default Scor-it! Big thumbs up!

Ok-

After having my scor it tool for about 3 weeks, I now have NO REMORSE about shelling out the $$ for this thing! Its SO COOL and now I can't even look at scoring something like the "olden" days! Its definitely one of the most used tools I own..besides a sizzix (which I just saw my friends cuttlebug and I'm thinking I need one of those, especially with using the embossing folders) and then my tonic cutter!

Its really a great tool and I used it so many times this week, not only for cards, but for school projects..sorry for the ranting!

I agree. When I first bought mine a last year, I did have buyer's remorse at first. I really like it now though. It makes such a professional score.

I am still on the fence about making the investment. It is good to see that both of you think it is worth the money...

I won't go back to the old way of scoring after having my Scor-It, what a great tool, I just scored 75 cards last night in under 10 minutes, using my scor-it. Put the guide on and away I score! LOL! Well worth the money I spent on it after my fiskar one started warping and giving me wonky scores. Also love my tonic cutters and especially my tonic mini cutter, that is the best investment I ever made!!

Does it scor more than one sheet at a time? If not is it really better than the scoring blade on some regular cutters?

It depends on what you mean by more than one piece of paper. I was making a project for school and just wanted to lightly score pieces of cardstock to fold a certain way..I used 2 sheets at a time and went over it several times and it was fine..NOT as crisp as one sheet, but they folded SO much better than if I had not scored them first. SOO, I guess you CAN score more than one sheet at time, but you lose the quality of the score..it really is nice and I can see it should last a long time.

I just looked up the Scor-it too. Looks intersting! I do want to mention that the cuttlebug embossing folders work with the sizzix. I just bought some. They are awesome!

Hey love.....
I have never tried to score more than one piece at a time because it scores so fast you really don't need to double up. You really won't save a ton of time by doing that. The problem I had with the scoring blades is that they tend to cut thru my paper.
The scor it and tonic paper cutter are 2 of my favorite tools as well.

I cannot find my scor-it!!!! We moved and still have boxes to unpack. I am really hoping my scor-it is still packed away and didn't get lost. Those things are very nice to use!

I would love to see a sample of a "Scor-It" scored card. Would anybody be kind enough to send me a piece? Trade for a card sample, maybe?

Did anyone see the add for the Scor-Pal today on the Weekly Inkling? Is the Scor it similar or different?
