Default Anyone here a member of Creative Home Arts Club?

I just received a flyer in the mail saying that if I join this club for $1 a month, I will get to test decorating and crafting products and keep them when I'm done (i.e. sewing machine, stencils, candle sets, etc.) . It doesn't say how often I will receive a product.

In return, all I need to do is fill out a brief questionnaire on how well the product performed (and pay the $1 a month fee).

Anyone try something like this before? Did you like the product you received? Is it worth joining?

Thanks for any responses!

I belong to Creative Home Arts, in fact, I am a lifetime member, so I got all the scrapbook totes etc. I have been on the testing panel twice, both times for very SMALL items, like a new carpet type tape and this last time for the new pens that you can personalize, a lot like the RSVP pen idea, only the barrel is fatter. After you are one one testing panel, you have to sign up again to be chosen again, it isn't automatic. You never know what you will get to test out, and then after testing it, you answer a few questions and give you opinions. Magazine that comes 8 or so times a year has lots of ideas, on all crafts, not just paper crafts. Hope this answers a couple questions for you. Enjoy!

I joined it a few years ago. I don't remember actually getting any product and didn't renew it.

Thanks for your replies! I think I will try it. I can always cancel if I don't like it. The magazine sounds cool though!

I'm a member and have never been given any free items to test... wishing I'd never bought the subscription!

When I belonged, it was $24/year. I had to pare down my magazine subscriptions, and the cost of this one made it too much for me.

The magazine in not that big, but the ideas were fabulous! I made several things in the mag.

I was never chosen to test any products in the year that I subscribed.
