Cuttlebug New Embossing Folders
 

Anybody order the new embossing folders I haven't seen many cards created with them yet. If you have post your card to this thread I would like to see all of your great ideas with them. Thanks Kim

Not Splitcoast but I ran into a gallery of cards done with some of the new embossing folders, most of them done white on white with a few color embellishments. Very effective. The gallery is at:

I have five of them and LOVE them.... not sure of the names, but the music one, the paisley one, the flourish with bird one, a cool flower one and the number one.

I have seen lots of cards with the new folders when looking at the daily uploads. You will just have to search for cuttlebug and look for the new ones. I have seen alot with the new swiss dots. I just ordered it off ebay so it should be here soon:)

I just thought it would be nice to have them all on a thread for those that wanted to share there creations hear. Thanks though for your tip.

Wouldn't you know that the only new embossing folder I DIDN'T get was the bird one and it is SO cute!! Okay, I didn't get the shell one, either BUT the bird one is now on my wish list!!

I love the new releases, I bought Birds and Swirls, Floral Fantasy, Distressed Stripes, Perfectly Paisley and Swiss Dots. I think I'll end up with the diamond one too.

WOW, I just loved your blooming birthday card. What was the card stock you used for the paisely embossing. It just looks so good and the embossing stands out sooooo well.

Hi, thanks so much for your lovely comments. That panel uses Stampin' Up!'s So Saffron cardstock. I find the SU! cardstock embosses just beautifully. I have read that you can spritz your cardstock with water before embossing to get a great impression - but I haven't tried that technique yet.

I just ordered a bunch from www.eclecticpaperie.com. Since I only have 3. They have a bundle price. Hope they ship quickly I'm really getting anxious to use the swiss dots one!

Mine shipped super quick. I think they shipped on Thurs or Fri and I got them on Monday. :)

I have them all. I made my Easter cards with the Swiss Dots they turned out very elegant. I have also made many of the white on white cards for the troops, church bookstore and for hubby to sell at work. They look so elegant and they are so easy. I am going to try it with some other colors as well. For some reason I have Sage Shadow on my mind to try first. Blessings.
