Default Cuttlebug - Big Shot - Differences? Help ...

I don't own either of these but Santa brought my some $$$ and I'm considering a die cut machine ... they are both die cut machines, right? Can somebody please educate me on which would be better? And which would be better for someone just starting out with die cuts? I'm so confused ...

Did you check out JulieHRR's blog. She did a comparison. I bought both machines only to take the cuttlebug back. I love the Big Shot but I just think it's personal preference. I don't have any Ellison stuff though except what came with it. I use all the Cuttlebug folders/dies and Sizzix and Sizzlits dies.

They are both excellent machines, both easy to use and transport! The Cuttlebug, however, takes up half the footprint in storage, vs. the Big Shot.

I did an article, based on my experiences, on these two machines, and you can read it HERE, if it is of any help in making your decision.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one--it is, as someone already said, it's more a matter of personal preference.

Go for the one you fancy most! ;)

Julie - your rock sister! Thank you SO much! I think the Big Shot might be the machine for me due to the same reasons you stated in your blog. Thanks for all the info ... why didn't I think to check your blog in the first place? Sheesh!
