Cuddlebug Die cut machine question
Just purchased this tonight at Mike's with 40% off Joann's cpn.
It came with one small post stamp metal die cut & 4 small postage type embossing squares for various events in life.
My dd and I were trying to figure out how to emboss the paper & then run it through a 2nd time accurately to cut it out using the postage stamp die cut.
Does anybody have a trick to share to do this accurately? This thing doesn't come with a stampamajig. LOL
tia,
Cindy

i do believe if you go under the tool/product thread there is a whole lot of things there. I hope that helps. I don't have a cuttlebug, just a cricut that I love dearly!

You may have to use the die cut first and then situate it in the embossing folder where you want it

That would be my advice, too. The Bug doesn't have the capability to do both simultaneously. Enjoy your Bug! All the answers to all the questions (LOL) are in the Cuttlebug FAQ linked in my signature. It may look like a lot to read, but it really is the best owner's (and shopper's) manual there is. Provocraft even sends people to us for *real* information!

No, I've never heard of them coming with anything. It may be a promotion from her vendor.

mine didn't either - it might be their new packaging...or a special packaging

I just bought mine yesterday and it came with dies and embossing plates. I am loving this thing. My DH just shook his head and rolled his eyes! I think he cannot wait for school to start again so I can stop running to the craft stores to buy all of the cool things I read about here on SCS!

Mine came with the postage stamp diecut, and I did the diecut first and then put it in the folder and it came out almost perfect.

I bought my Cuttlebug about six weeks ago and it didn't come with the bonus die and embossing folder, however after my friend saw and tried my Cuttlebug she had to have one for herself and bought it last week. I went with her and as were checking out, I noticed that her box indicated that a bonus die and folder was included. I am so jealous...but at least I can borrow hers!
It's a wonderful tool to add to your craft collection!

Well, Michael's or Joann's with a 40% off coupon is the cheapest, but their selection can sometimes be limited, esp Joann's stores. My new Michael's has lots of folders, but the older one doesn't.
Online, the best place IMO is allthatscraps.com
They have free shipping if you spend $10, and come on, doncha need at least two folders????
