I wanted to chime in on the albums. I have some from both...
CTMH and SU Linen post bound albums are pretty much the same. I don't really see or feel much difference.
The CTMH leather albums are so smooth and awesome but a bit pricey.
My favorite is the SU 3 ring binder style.
However... I love that CTMH has many more colors whereas SU only has a few.
That's my take on it at least, LOL

I am glad to hear they have changed their policy on selling stuff. I never did understand that anyways. I feel that as long as a person gives credit, we should be able to do what we want (except for like mass production etc).
Have they lightened their restrictions on the blogging atmosphere yet? I know that when I was a consultant, I heard lots of rumours about CTMH telling consultants they could not post sales or anything on their blog. Kind of a sad thing b/c I thought that would HELP them, ya know? I'd love to hear that they changed this as well.

I am an SU demo but I do have quite a few CTMH sets. I love the stamps. Anyway, my license plate says I SCRAP (no not IS CRAP) I have decals on the windows for SU. I came out of the grocery store one evening and I found a CTMH book in my door handle...I thought that was so funny. That was what got me started on CTMH stamps. I do not have a demo right now and would like a catalog. Also could someone provide a link to the August stamps of the month? Blessings.

Too funny! You can check out the Idea Book online at www.closetomyheart.com and can use the consultant locator to find a consultant near you. There is also a link for the stamp of the month as well.

I'm in Idaho also... but I absolutely LOVE it here. I've not been over to where you live but around here, I have lots of green Out of the ten states I've lived in, this is so far the best. LOL. But I'm looking towards Montana or Wyoming within the next five years!
Anyways, just wanted to chime in and say hi from a fellow Idahoan

Yes, you should wait because not only will you get new stuff but you'll also get the Fall/Winter catalogs (the newest) instead of the Summer ones

Thanks for saying hi! Can you PM me a list of the retired CTMH stuff you have? If I can't find it through the sale in August - there's a couple of things I'm looking for.

Spring and Summer 2008 catalogs expire Dec 31 2008.
Our Fall/Winter catalog goes live September 1, and it also expires Dec 31, 2008.

They can be ordered out of and are considered current until December 31st. The retired list will be coming out soon and items on that list will be while supplies last. The timeline for the Spring Idea Book is January 1 - April 30. Summer is May 1 - August 31. Fall/Winter is September 1 - December 31.

Ok- I think I get it--there will be a retired list of things for sale Aug 5th that will contain the items that will be retired from the Summer and Spring idea book and then a new idea book will come out--and everything that hasnt been retired can be bought until Dec31/
Thanks--sorry if I am really being a bit dense-

The products on the clearance sale beginning August 5th are those that were retired last year or before; the sale won't include those items that will be retiring later this year.
When the announcement of the new retiring items are provided soon, they will retire December 31st, or while supplies last (for embellishments/accessories/papers). Otherwise any product from the Spring, Summer, Fall/Winter 2008 and Product Review can be ordered until the end of the year.

I got my July hostess order tonight... May and June Word puzzle stamp sets and the Spots and Dots background stamps... I already inked up 2 of the 3 sets! Aren't you impressed?
Finally broke into my Sonata paper I've been hoarding in my stash... so pretty... I just love Chocolate/Blush/Buttercup...

Amy,
I've played on all the PIF threads, and a "recycle" thread. Its not the exact thread that you are talking about tho.
I just let everyone know that I have CTMH to share. Sometimes people just don't know what you have to offer, and need to see what you have.
Here are links to a couple of the threads I play on... just to share...

When orders are placed on our CTMH websites, at this time there isn't any way to provide hostess benefits; only when the orders are placed through a consultant. You can normally still receive the Stamp of the Month or any other special.
For this particular clearance sale, the consultant receives 10% instead of the usual 22% and cannot combine a clearance item purchase with a regular item purchase at the same time because of that. You'll receive an option of one or the other when clicking on the Shop Online.

CTMH hasn't changed their policies on blogging. We cannot advertise any specials, workshops or pretty much anything that promotes CTMH products on our blogs. The only exception is that we can place our CTMH web address and that's it. Posting artwork is okay.

I posted something about starting a stamp club for CTMH today and now I can't find the thread. Do you think they would have pulled it?

Hi Susan,
There are lots of new products that will be introduced in the new Idea Book but I can't say anything because the group I belong to has made a rule that we can't pass on any info regarding convention as we get the updates. It should be okay after convention is over.

Okay, CTMH posted the new Idea Book online for consultants to see so I will assume that it's okay for me to post some things about it. The new consultant kits are only $99 with $300 worth of products. The stamps are absolutely beautiful in the kit and the papers and the new colors are gorgeous!! I can't wait to get the new stuff!!

Do you know what other items new consultants can get for discounted price. A friend of mine is interested and I need the details. Where can I find them on the website.
Also, is this new price effective Sept 1st?

You absolutely MUST clarify that none of the NEW stuff is available for customers until Sept 1. when the catalog goes live.
That includes the new consultant price.

In my excitement I had forgotten that detail. All new stuff doesn't go into effect until Sept. 1st. Thanks for pointing that out.
