I'd be interested as I have 3 sets here that haven't seen ink yet! (One set I'm still waiting on, they sent the wrong one!) Or did you mean for demos only?

The July special is actually only for consultants but some of us are offering our own July specials
August 5th through 28th is going to be a website-only special of insane discounts on items (available only on a consultant's website) of retired items (but doubt much will last til the 28th!!!)
Hope that helps!

I love the CTMH albums. I have used both and am partial to CTMH of course, but there isn't a huge difference. CTMH is a few $ cheaper and has a larger variety of colors. One thing I love to do with my albums is stamp on the covers to personalize them, I always use the linen albums. Because the stamps are clear, I don't have to worry about messing up.

I've never tried the albums either... long ago I started using CM albums and I've kind of kept using them for uniformity on my bookshelf that I might have some day to display them... hmmm... silly now that i type it...

OK, tryin' to keep the CTMH chatter going...
What blocks does everyone have? I just ordered my last block this month: 4 1/2 x 6 1/2. It toook me a while to collect them all. I can't believe I haven't ordered this one earlier... it will be fun to make my own backgrounds for card fronts with a bunch of little stamps.... like the flourishes or something...

I'm a CM album gal till I die! Haven't found anything that compares to what I like for scrapbooking.

I have the ones purchased in the starter block kit, but plan to get more in my next months order. Still have to try out the stamp sets I bought last month during the special.

The standard block that I have everyone start with is the 2x3.5 inch block. I sell alot of those just to get people hooked on them!
Personally I use all the smaller blocks. The 1x1, the 1x3.5 and the 2x3.5 are my most used blocks.

CTMH only has exclusivity on these books for one year after they are debuted. After that one year time frame is up they can be sold elsewhere through an agreement with the publisher. We are all hoping a new book will be announced for the Fall/Winter Idea Book at convention in a couple of weeks.

No flaming here.
They are AWESOME books!
We only have a contract to carry them 1 year before they hit the shelves at bookstores. Its really a bummer, but thats life I guess.
To be completely honest, the new one Reflections is my absolute favorite of her 3 books. I use it the most.

Yep, we only have them exclusively for one year. If you purchase Cherish through CTMH it is only $21.95. The price on Imagine will probably drop with this new catalog also. I have Cherish, Imagine and Reflections also but always go back to Cherish. It is my favorite and the one I always recommend to my customers who don't have any of them yet.

I wish they would come out with idea books for cards. I guess here on SCS we have sketch challenges to use... but I would love a book full of card ideas patterned after Cherish/Imagine/Reflections.

We are hoping that one comes out this Fall/Winter catalog.
That catalog is live September first. Our convention is in a couple of weeks, and it could be unveiled then!! <keeping my fingers crossed!>

Where is the convention? Is it in the same place every year? Is it at the end of July? What goes on? Have you been to them? Sorry for all the questions. I maybe signing up this month!

How exciting that you may be signing up soon!
Convention this year is at Orlando!!! They don't do the BIG/HUGE convention every year. Its every year or 2... honestly don't remember how often. sorry.
The years that they do not do convention, they have smaller venues thru out the states called Regionals. I have been to Regionals in St Louis. It was SOO much fun! Lots of learning business wise, techniques wise, and lots of getting to know other consultants.

The "big" convention is every other year so the next one will be 2010. In addition to Regionals we also have a big Album Retreat on the year that we don't have convention.

HI there!!! :)
I am definitely looking forward to the new catalog. I have the Cherish and Imagines, they were my first orders when they both came out. I even took advantage of the recent buy 2 and get the 3rd one free and finished up the solo's and I am totally loving it!! doesn't' take much space!!
I'm constantly looking for CTMH bloggers that are into scrapbooking. I have been building my supplies for CTMH instead of my SU supplies.
I left SU just a few weeks ago, to sign up with CTMH which I will in about a week, but am waiting to see what the August's kit will be so I'm debating on signing up on Jul 25 or Aug 1st.
I'm glad to see there's a thread just specifically for CTMH, but was curious about the other CTMH forum, to why it isn't really "alive"?

I just got my first CTMH stamps this past weekend and met such a nice demonstrator. I picked the demonstrator that lived the closest to me and she brought everything to my house that I ordered. She also brought swatches of cs and paper so I could see what CTMH offers. I used the cat stamps this weekend and have just uploaded three of the cards to CTMH gallery. I was delighted with the fine line and detail the stamps have. Of course, I will be buying more! I love the envelopes the stamps come in!

Where outside of St. Louis do you live? I am in Warrenton, about 60 miles west of St. Louis. Who are you signing up under? We might have the same upline!

You can buy both Cherish and Imagine now. They will be available in the new catalog also with, hopefully, a new book. Right now Cherish sells for $21.95 and Imagine is $27.95. I would think that the price of Imagine will drop in the new catalog, especially if a new book comes out.

I'm under Phil Wilhelm, or Dr. Phil as he calls himself! Once you sign up and start getting Keynotes and get on the BB, you'll see him around. He actually has a write up in the current Keynotes. Congratulations on your decision to join CTMH!

I know who you're talking about. I've had the pleasure of meeting him before at several parties that he did for some of my friends over in St. Louis.

Can I just say Michelle and Jen that I am SOOOOOO jealous that y'all live in the St. Louis area. I moved to Idaho from Washington, MO 3 1/2 years ago and I miss it terribly. I've been back a couple of times since moving out here but the trips home and been so short. Although I do not drink, I nearly cried when I found out that AB was bought out by a company in Belgium. Whether you drink or not, AB is so much a part of the culture when you grow up around St. Louis...especially if you go to Grant's Farm and what not. Of course, if I had not moved out here to Idaho I might not have been introduced to CTMH. Can you believe I had never heard of it before moving out here? I know, hard to imagine but I am so hopelessly addicted to it now. Making up for lost time I suppose!

We live in south Warren County and with gas prices the way they are find ourselves going to Washington over Wentzville more and more. I know it is off topic but did you hear that someone stole the plaque at the Daniel Boone memorial site to sell as scrap metal? All that gone because someone wanted to make less than $100!

The kids only has to been to Grant's once, and we were hoping to do that this summer, but with the gas price. it's crazy! I know I was very disappointed to find out that I-Bev bought the AB!! My husband's family was not happy with this either.
Any chance of you guys moving back to MO?

question about the kits!
does any of the consultant here know what the August kit will be if you sign up with them Aug 1st? I've been waiting to hear back from my soon to be upline, but haven't heard. I'm trying to debate if I should sign up on the 25th of Jul (payday, LOL) or wait till August 1st for the new kit, but I wanted to compare the kits to see which one will benefit me better.
Thanks!

Thanks! |
Our Convention is the last week of July/first week of August, and that is when the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book will be released as well as lots of new products. At that time also, a new Consultant Kit will be introduced.
No, we have no idea what will be in it - and won't until Convention. But, my assumption would be that the price will remain around $150 and the contents will be similar to the current Consultant kit. However, all the stamps and papers WILL BE from the soon-to-be-announced Idea Book!
The new kit should be available for new consultants who sign-up on Aug 1 or after. Even though the Autumn/Winter Idea Book will not be "live" until Sept 1 - as a new consultant, you would receive NEW products in your kit beginning one month earlier (Aug 1).
Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions.
