I'm a SU demo, but I wouldn't mind having a forum just of CTMH discussion threads. Hey Mods, how about it?

Mine is the white core cardstock. I love sanding the edges, or using my Cuttlebug embossing folders and sanding the raised images, or doing what I saw in the catalog - making score lines with my bone folder, then sanding the scored lines to reveal the white core. I love that it's thin enough to make multi-layer cards. I do prefer a heavier weight for my scrapbook pages, but what it really boils down to for me is color. And I love CTMH's colors!

Im not sure I have just 1 favorite!
I LOVE the stamps! It is so easy to see just where to place them. I make alot of my own printed paper... with the stamps for backgrounds.

I love that the papers, inks and assesories all coordinate. That truly makes it easy to put something together without having to wonder "does this match"?

I LOVE our Liquid Glass! That is something I use the most. It is great to use as glue, but its also great to use for a crackled look, or a wet/water look. Very versitle item.

What a concept!!!!! IF scs did this you (scs) would reap the rewards of heaven.
Some might think what mine is mine and what yours is yours, however this concept of a CTMH forum here would be a major cue for scs in my opinion.

If this happened and all the warr ing countries joined in like manner what an idea!! I love it. Do you think the time is now? Or am I getting carried away?

I have the CTMH albums, and have a customer who is switching all her albums over to CTMH.
However, I've never used a SU album in order to give you a comparison. I'm sorry.

I love our linen albums! They are postbound and lay nice and flat. And the colors are really pretty!

I love CTMH. I've been a consultant for a little over two years now but am really more of a hobbyist. I too wish there was a CTMH forum here. I was kinda bummed when they announced the new galleries and CTMH did not get one. :(

I also agree about CTMH's angel policy needing to be changed. I have gone back and forth debating whether or not I want to remain a consultant or if I am going to have to dabble in other stamp sets in order to be able to sell my cards.

For those who were asking about artwork for Whoops-A-Daisy and Boom-Di-Ada, I have a few projects in my gallery. I'd love to know what you think.

Default 1st time order!

Ohhhhhhh goodie goodie, I just placed my FIRST CTMH order yesterday! I went NUTS looking for a set, emailing left & right trying to find a set that I saw in a magazine (not labeled correctly, ahem!) LOL Finally, this sweet demo lady not far from my house answered my email, and after a few e's back and forth it was figured out - ANGEL WHISPERS! LOVE IT! I took advantage of the Buy 2/Get 1 free as well & can't wait for next month's SOTM, it's DIVINE!!
I have a houseful of SU! sets, but as the other poster mentioned, sometimes a particular company just doesn't have what you want or are looking for. This time, CTMH hit it right on the mark!

I have never bought from CTMH, but after looking at the online catalog (thanks to this thread) I think I might have to find a demo! The "Life's a Jungle" set is sooooo cute! I love it! I am going to go browse some more!!

Not sure if this is new, but when I went into the galleries this morning and clicked on "Company Galleries" and then went down the bottom where galleries are listed alphabeticallly by company name, Close to My Heart WAS listed and DID have a gallery.

Thought you might want to know.

I'm in search of a Close To My Heart rep that would be interested in setting up a demo stand at our twice a year crop we hold. We are located in Newport, PA. It's about 30 min outside of Harrisburg. I contacted someone through their website several times and have not heard back from anyone. After joining SCS I thought it would be great to support a rep on the board. It's a FREE set up so no money would be required.

Anyone interested????

I don't think CTMH has ever said how many reps total there are, not that I know of anyway.

Oh AWESOME you guys should let your customer support know how please everyone is. A good pat on the back to management is always appreciated. I'm so excited to be introduced to their line of products at our crop in October.

About the albums. CTMH has very nice post-bound albums, I especially love the leather one. It's worth the money.

But I really prefer 3-ring albums and have switched over to SU's 3-ring albums. Didn't get rid of my CTMH ones, but I've decided to use both.

I have a question about CTMH - I just placed my first order and it came back wrong :( I placed the order for ONE stamp set but ended up ordering 4. And the ONE stamp set I wanted in the first place wasn't included - rofl! They sent something else in it's place. RRRRRRRRRR! It's correct on the order form, just a different one is in the box. I could just cry!

I contacted the "consultant" that I placed the order with - we did everything thru email. There isn't any information on the order form to call CTMH or any address to return the wrong one - what do I do now? Call the consultant and have her straighten it out? I have emailed her she's really sweet but being this is 4th of July weekend coming up, you know, lol.

I"d appreciate any help! Thanks in advance,

I'm so sorry that the order was incorrect. Your consultant will be able to straighten the problem out for you and will let you know any special instructions. You shouldn't have to pay for any return postage if you are required to return the stamp set. I know that is small consolation when you were expecting your order, though!

Does she have a website? Our websites normally have our contact information (including phone number). If not, hopefully she'll respond to your email soon.

I've been a CTMH Consultant for three years and I love, love it all! The products are excellent quality and practically sell themselves. Once a person stamps with clear stamps, he/she usually doesn't want to use mounted stamps much in the future. It's just so easy to get absolutely correct placement. Our stamps are thicker and better made (our blocks are too) than any others I have and I have an enormous (ssh!) collection of clear stamps from other companies.

When Creating Keepsakes does their annual product voting, CTMH albums are usually ranked in the top three. I agree that the leather ones are soo smooth and nice. You'll feel proud to show of your pages in one of them.

My favorite item: the fact that everything coordinates!!! I love this feature.
Before I was CTMH I was spending more and more of my time locating and matching stuff in my stash. More time than I acually scrapped! That made me mad! Since I became a Consultant, I've been switching to all-CTMH product. Now, doing a card or LO is sooooo simple. My preparation time has been cut about 90% and I am scrapping more and more!

I'm so with you about storage! After 10 years of stamping storage was a HUGE issue for me, now I can get about 30 CTMH sets in just one drawer of my plastic bins!

DRJJ did a CTMH swap back in March... I got back some great stuff.

Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Shall I open one? I haven't got to play swap hostess yet... I would love to try. Any other interest?
