Default Crop-o-dile 2

Has anyone seen this yet? It looks pretty nifty....and has a 6" reach!

I got an email from CK on this today. It said it debuts on Jan 10th on HSN and won't be available again until March. Doesn't give a price, though. I'm not sure I'll jump to buy it. I like the idea of it having a longer reach to punch holes but I'd have to see the price before investing in it. It would be something I wouldn't necessarily use for scrapbooking...more for punching holes in other stuff. I know I will be more patient to buy it than I've been in the past. I would want to use a coupon for sure.

Darn it- I just bought the crop-a-dile on Monday. I hope I don't just fall in love with this new one! (wink, wink!)

Im very interested but the thing looks HUGE.

I can see maybe leaving it permanently in my studio but it looks too big to cary to a crop.

My favorite setting tool is this one... ReadySet Tool by Heidi Swapp
I have a Crop-a-dile and really loved it until I happened to find this. No pounding. No squeezing. No hard to reach places. Just hold the thing upright on your cardstock, pull back on the spring loaded handle and let go.

Oh... you need to put the CS on a cutting mat unless you like little holes and circles on your table. And it probably won't do heavy chipboard.

For really heavy stuff and for setting rhinestones and lots of different eyelets, you might want to compare the new Crop-a-Dile with this. HomePro Long Reach (LR) tool by American Tag Company

Question Question

Where did you see a picture of a new Crop-a-dile?
I looked on We R Memory Keepers. I looked on HSN. I looked on Creating Keepsakes. Still haven't seen a picture.

I got it in my email too! I contacted the company to see if I could purchase it at the next scrapbook expo and they said it won't be available just yet. It will retail for $39.99. For that price, I'll wait for a coupon!

I LOVE my ReadySetTool from Heidi Swapp - and I love it even more because I got it for $9 new at the Great American Scrapbook Convention last year!

I emailed the company again and asked if they're going to sell a case for the new CAD. It's an going to be an additional $12.99.

Darn. I just decided no more tools or stuff until I start using my stash consistantly! I did have my fingers crossed though.....

Talking It is ALL your fault!!!

I should ban myself from any chat about new products. But you guys just had to bring up the new Crop-a-dile. So I just had to turn on HSN to watch. Of course the demo just had to show that thing punching through heavy chipboard, setting grommets, setting snaps. So I just had to log on to the site and buy one.

And while I was there I just had to buy the enveloper too.

But it is still ALL your fault, whoever ALL of you may be, for bringing up the subject.

Thank you!! That's exactly why I was trying to blame someone else. Usually, everything is MY fault.
