I just don't know if I would use it much. I never did get the Sizzix paperdolls. They seemed like too much "work" to me. I am sure Robyn (and everyone else!) will help me change my mind.

Thanks Robyn! Maybe I could make a "Cambodian" Mickey with Close to Cocoa skin tones. My daughter would probably love it. This could be way to fun! What yellow and red seem to look best? I am thinking Yo Yo and Real Red.

Yes, I think the Bold Brights look great with the Mickey and Friends. Of course, I have seen really cute cuts using patterned paper, too. Good luck and have fun with it!

Did you change your settings to 3 & 3 on the dials. Did you change the setting when you cut? that might effect it. I used thinner cardstock because I didnt want to change the settings for the paper. Maybe you need to cut twice without changing the settings. when I drew the duck I had been doing cutting of heavy cardstock and for got to reset the dials to 3,3 that is why those linse are so fat.

I didn't change my settings. I just did it without thinking. Duh. It worked great for me, though.

It must be a great thing to be right next to Zooballoo. I can't wait to get it. I'm really wishing I had it right now because I am doing a pirate party for my youngest DS birthday and I know there is cute stuff on that cartridge. Unfortunately it won't be out before his birthday - it's coming out 8 days late. His birthday is on Thanksgiving.

I didn't think I needed that cart either, until I saw all of the "extras" that each of the dolls has. I want that cart mainly for the extras, lol!

Ok .... Our first Cricut Challenges ...

#1 - Create a *card* using your Cricut die cuts .... NOT a font.

#2 - Scrap a page using at least one die cut (from Cricut, of course) that isn't a letter.

#3 - Create a 3D object using a font cartridge.

#4 - Create a project of your choice using orange and brown - in honor of Thanksgiving (for those in the US).

#5 - Create something using both the Cricut and the Cuttlebug on the *same* die cut.

You have until November 30th to meet the challenge. Upload your picture of your project and post in your blog, gallery, or on here as an attachment, and let us know where it is.

Do one, some, or all - just have fun with them!

That's what I was thinking! Actual shipping must be close to $30, I would think. I know the shipping on my personal cricut was close to $20 and the seller paid that.

Hey guys! I just purchased Locker Talk for $39.99 at customcrops.com. It was posted on the cricut message board that it is that price through Thursday. When I went to the site the price was still listed at $59.99 in the spot where all the carts are listed, but Locker Talk was on the scrolling bar on the left and I clicked on it and it came up at the sale price. Just wanted to let everyone know about the deal.

I just ordered an expression from www.hallmarkscrapbook.com.

I got FREE shipping and paid 299. I thought that was a good deal.

I am borrowing my friend's regular cricut right now to do lettering for signs for our christmas parade next weekend. I fell in luv!!!

I'm trying to figure out how to cut the coasters....????

Hi all,

I guess I've popped in and out of this thread only a few times since I bought my Cricut. I have to admit, I haven't used it as much as I'd thought, but I think I'm still warming up to it and getting to understand how to use it.

Anyway, I finally made one of those name frames for my son, and I used the Cricut to cut out the thin chipboard and patterned paper for the letters in his name. It was super easy and fast to do! I think I had a harder time finding thin chipboard that would work in the Cricut, lol!

Here's a link:
http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=44571

Thanks for letting me share!

I dont see the markers listed, but they are in the picture! Those 2 carts extra and the markers and the Low shipping make this a great deal, beats the Hallmark deal if you dont have these two carts and since SYI isnt released yet, this is a good deal!

Default AC Moore deal

Oh, great! This sounds like a fabulous deal. I don't have Paper Pups or Imagination or the markers! I told myself I couldn't order the ebug until my old stuff is out of the house. What do you guys think? Should I order? Or wait until I get rid of the old stuff? I do have the last of it on Ebay right now, so I am thisclose to having the stuff out of the house. Do you think there will be better (or similar?) deals closer to Thanksgiving?

is this close enough, LOL! Of course, we will enable you!!!!
If you read Robyns post about her E-Bug. you'ld get it just for the

1.size difference,
2. the amount of paper your going to save,
3. the 8 way blade direction adjustment and
4. the 1/4" cutting differences.

At least that is what is most tempting to me.

I think that is a pretty good deal Imaginations isnt even being released until Dec 1st. I think its a great price. and you'll be one of the first to get Stretch your Imaginations, and you get Accent Essentials sampler cart.
