I started when my ds was 6 mos old, so I'm not to far behind. That's why I make so many albums and other things for other people. And sometime next year I'd like to work on my college years, which I have a TON of pics of.

Welcome Siobhan!!! What a great dh!!!! Amy (heart2hart) gave you great advice, and since Kathy (jostvig) wants that, she probably knows more about it, too. All I know is that it requires using a computer, and since the computer and I have a difference of opinions, I won't be one of the first getting it, lol.

Yes you need the carts to be able to cut the software will tell you when to change cartridges.

JKcrafts has it prelisted on their site for 90, Kim Is presaleing it for 60. I'm getting it from her. I have heard Dec 1 for release date I think posted at kims site

Thanks to everyone for answering me! You gals rock! So, who is Kim? I assume she has a virtual store? Great, one more to send all DH's money to! Ha!!

**biting my nails** I think I want the whole system NOW! I don't know if I can wait! Maybe DH won't notice if I take it out now and again before X-mas!

I think that this is the correct website for Kim:

http://freewebs.com/kimscorner/index.htm

She usually has good prices on her carts and does preorders. I havn't ordered from her yet, but many here have, and have had great experiences. HTH

I definitely could not wait until Christmas!!! That would be so hard. The Cricut was also my Christmas present last year but my DH gave it to me in the beginning of December since I just had a baby. He thought it would help me with the transition of a new baby and it really helped.

I got DH a X-box, so I am thinking I am really in a position to negotiate this one!!! Only thing is the kids need to see us open something on X-mas morning...maybe we can re-wrap some games or carts!!! ha ha ha!!

You know, with the shipping time to get over to me, it could be December before I see anything anyway. **boo hoo**

Many times, yes. But not always. What were you just trying to get me to go to Michael's for this morning? All because I said a cratridge was starting to grow on me. I'm not even at the point of needing/wanting it yet. And I am sure the yet is temporary. Thought I would throw that in there before you do. But I am also sure that you will play a part in it being temporary. And yes, you do freely admit you are an enabler. LOL

Try this:

http://www.freewebs.com/kimskorner/index.htm

It appears to be the same as what was already posted, but I clicked on the link in my favorites and then copied from the address bar after I was at her site. Hope this works.

I wasn't always caught up! When I was doing Stampin' Up! as a career I had NO time to scrap so I have only been getting caught up in the last 2 1/2 years. I go in huge spurts. I take a ton of pictures, too. I just ordered September 2007 from Clark Color and there were around 250 pictures from just that month!! I try to record all my 5 kids so they will have something to read about when they are older.

LOL!!! I also take waaayyyyy too many pics, lol. My ds has a 12x12 album full of last Christmas alone (ok, so it includes every event in December that is Christmas-related, like dh's work kids Christmas party, etc). Everyone I know gives me a hard time about it, lol. And yes, he is an only child, lol.

You should be able to work it out, hopefully. Watch the sales, maybe you can find a great deal, so that you still have plenty of $ left for the kiddos, lol.

Hey don't worry Molly I always joked that ds will have a room full of scrapbooks by the time he is 18 but at this rate it might be filling up the whole house, lol He just turned 2 and has 4 albums already and if I had finished his album from 6 months and on it would actually be 6 or 7 :O

I'm an obsessive scrapbooker though EVERYTHING has to be in chronological order even if one page is out of order I have to redo it, lol Oh and then there are some pages I don't like and I take apart and redo

I try to record all my 5 kids so they will have something to read about when they are older.
thats what I do journal on the calender or on a separate piece of paper or compose something in my e-mail inbox and save it as a draft so I can go back later and not have to strain the brain

Default CRICUT Markers

I bought a set at Wm the other night, but haven't used them. Anyone else has these and how did they do? Easy to replace with the blade housing, etc?

You guys are killing me. I JUST finished my dd's baby album - she's 12!!!! I'm about 8 years behind in pictures. I think it's pretty realistic to say that I don't think I'll ever get caught up!
