Cute cards Kathy and Robyn! You girls both have a house FULL of kids and still find time to play! You are both amazing and inspiring . . . I did a couple of card challenges this week (did a little Cricut-ing on one), but haven't had much other free time. Hope to be able to play this weekend! I noticed several new avatars for some of you "old-timers", too! I had to reorient myself on who was who! I had my picture on my avatar one evening for about 30 minutes and then changed it back! This Wendy is much cuter than me!!!

Morning ladies, I never did get any time to play yesterday, my shelves only showed up at 5 and I had toleave by 5:30 to go to dress rehersal. My mom is here today, so I porbably won't get any time today either But I did let me daughter make a purse with aTBBM yesterday, so my little guy still knows he is loved. Dance recital tonight, and who knows what tomorrow brings, if the wether stays good, we will be seeding soon and that leaves no time to play . BEtter run and start the day

That's awesome!! I would love to have something like that.

Yeah, I have a TON of scraps from my Cricut. Sometimes, I get tired of trying to keep them all and just trash them, but I usually keep them.

Have you changed your blade??

I hope that goes well, Conni!!! I've avoided the Bellas so far. They are just too limited for me.

Hi Cricut sisters. I pulled mine out of the box last night and plugged it in -- and I'm hooked. I played until 5 a.m.! I love making huge dimensional flowers with it! Here's my first project with the Cricut: //www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/547776?cat=500&ppuser=47610

Yep, loving this machine! *dreamy sigh* Ok, I'll quit chirping -- I just wanted to share with you all because you know what the excitement is all about! I'm hoping to browse the threads and see if I can find some good tips on using it.

Did you ladies see the new cricut that also draws whatever you punch in? Sunnysnowflake posted it on the original cricut thread. I checked it out on QVC looks pretty neat.

Yes! I am going to wait to get the markers later if they are available. I think a few of them were going to be. I can't imagine they would come out with this new technology only expecting us to buy ANOTHER Cricut. Ours are the exact same!!

Man ... another Cricut??? That just doesn't work for me. I get frustrated when companies do that. I may just have to write the company. I mean 3 new Cricuts in a year ... what do they expect us to do???

Thanks Shell I haven't changed the blade yet but I'm heading to the city on Wednesday and will pick up a new one. It's done this though since the very first cut so who knows....

And I will check out the cart I already have Walk in the Garden (?) and the Christmas one on raincheck..lol

I think some girls on the Cricut board actually tried this a few months ago and it worked. I will be bummed if we can't get those pens later. I don't think that is right.

Wow, my eyes are buggy from reading this whole thread! I totally want to go play with my cricut but it is way past my bedtime. Ok Ok I guess I will have to take a closer look at Zooballoo, too. It seems to come HIGHLY recommended. I also want a Walk in the Garden. I love flowers. Good night, ladies.

Someone on the thread quoted PC as saying they would be available later that just the colors that QVC is selling wont be. Except for the black. I'll post a link to that thread soon. it is in the tools forum under cricutII, PC doesn't want anyone confusing the cricutII with the Expression. I am just having a hard time understanding what the purpose would be to use it to draw instead of cut. Can anyone explain that?

I'm new to the Cricut scene so you are talking Greek to me with the "Z" word. I'll have to see what Zooballoo is now!

I am just having a hard time understanding what the purpose would be to use it to draw instead of cut. Can anyone explain that?

I believe that you draw with it first and then reload it with the blade to cute it out. You could have a lot of fun with that one! The new cart that comes with it looks fun, too. I'm not buying it, though, for sure!

Thanks for the welcome ladies!
From what I heard at the Cricut board the II is the same machine just different colors and the pens will be available after the July CHA. It kind of sounded like PC didn't think QVC was going to show it this early.
I didn't think I wanted the pens until I saw the demo. You were right about drawing then cutting. It looked really neat. And they showed some titles done in the markers and layered. And it is another exclusive cartridge. I only have three (no, I don't have zoobaloo yet!) so that does not upset me since there are plenty of them out there for me to get!!!
We have had a busy weekend so I have had no time to scrap. Hopefully tomorrow!

Is that all that is ? Do the markers just go in place of the blade?

Yeah, I have a TON of scraps from my Cricut. Sometimes, I get tired of trying to keep them all and just trash them, but I usually keep them.

I redid mine after being at Cindy's the other day, she had a big box that holds hanging files and then had a file for each color, much better than trying to dig through the whole pile to find the color you think you should have a scrap of!
