I will use Paper Dolls castle, princess, crown and wand to make her wall art for now.

Robyn, what size Peachy Keen stamps do you have for Paper Dolls?
MY walmart said they will match ads, but not %off. Does the add have a picture of the princess carts on it? I'ld ask for a manager becasue walmart has a statement saying it will match competitors adds, except % off if the add states a price they will match.I'ld try again.

How do you cut the binding to the right size?
Thanks! Actually I'm only using the chipboard coasters for the front and back covers. The "pages" are made of cardstock, cut at 3 3/4 so that they're a little smaller than the coasters, which will make the calendar sit a little nicer. I do plan on covering the coasters with some of my scraps of patterned paper, God knows I have enough of it, LOL!!!

I love using my cricut and BIA together on projects! The more you use them, the cheaper they are, right? (That's what I tell myself, anyway LOL!!!) The BIA is pretty easy to use, especially on coasters, because that's how wide it is so it's super easy to line them up to punch. The BIA runs about $60, but I was able to get it at my lss on Sun, when they honor competitor coupons (luckily Michaels had a 50% that week!!). I get all of my coils from bonniesbest.com. She's got great prices (she carries the BIA, too), and she's also an SCS'er. I cut the coils down with wire cutters that I got at Meijer for about $5.00. HTH

*You can use the "Flip" feature if you would like the image to face the other direction.
*It has a button for cutting chipboard and vinyl.
*My new favorite feature is the Portrait button and the Return button.
*You can actually see the shape on the LCD screen.
*You can cut smaller than 1"

Those are just a few but I am sure there is much more. I've only played with the large bug for about 2 weeks and before that was content with the regular bug. If you can afford it I would recommend just getting the larger one. I am noticing that I am wasting less paper and time because I can put many little pieces of different colors on my matt at the same time.

Good luck!
THIS post about the expression took forever to find

It does have a little delay while the screen loads the image, but I think it is worth the wait. I have caught that I put in the wrong thing a couple of times. The e-bug has a flip feature so that you can flip the object. It has a fit to page button. You can tell it what size your paper is and then hit fit to page and it will make the image as big as possible for the size paper. It also has a fit to length button. Center point function allows you to center your cut on a piece of paper or a picture. You can tell it how many of one image you want cut and it will keep track of how many have been cut. Multi cut allows you to cut the same image in the same spot 2, 3 or 4 times to cut through thicker things such as chipboard. Size increments are 1/4" (and they start at 1/4"), where on the baby bug once you get past one they are 1/2". The navigation arrows to move the blade go in all directions, even diagonally. The e-bug can cut in portrait or landscape mode. Other features are mix n match and auto fill. I'm sure I forgot something.
I have the baby bug too and I am so happy I decided to get the e-bug. I had a hard time deciding because I already had spent the money on the baby bug. I haven't regretted it yet. I love my e-bug.

Are you sold yet??? I am sooooooooooooooooooooo happy that I bought it. I did have a little bit of buyer's remorse the first few days. Now that I have played I am so excited!
OKAY this is the last one.

Also I just love the Accent Essentials cartridge that comes with the Expressions machine. Thanks for any input from anyone I really appreciate any help.
Took awhile but see my previous three post or the post in the Cricut FAQ where I put all three links HTH

You won't believe this. I went back to Wal Mart this morning to pick up a present for a Godchild that I decided I couldn't pass up. I thought I should ask to see the price match policy. The customer service desk told me that they would match the price! So I am the proud owner of two princess carts.

[QUOTE=robynstamps;7882820]Wonderful pages. I really love your cake. It had to be much easier and faster than the one I cut out by hand a few months back. I want the tags, boxes, etc cart, but decided to wait until I get the eBug and have a bigger cutting area.

I am hoping to get it finished tonight after the kids go to bed. I will be up late doing laundry anyway. I didn't get any of that done today because I was out braving the stores to try to get some of my shopping done. I got quite a bit done so I don't feel quite so stressed.

Love this thread by the way.
You won't regret it! Hallmarkscrapbook.com has the ebug for $299 right now with free shipping. acmoore.com had an expression bundle that comes with 2 extra cartridges (paper pups and stretch your imagination) and a set of the cricut pens for $379. I'm not sure if they still have the same price or not, but thought I would let you know so you could check it out.

Default I finally broke down and ordered a Cricut....

and I'm so FREAKIN' EXCITED!!!! I can't wait until it comes!!! My DH will probably pitch a fit, because I'm going to Hawaii in 11 days to visit my son who is stationed there with the Army and just got back from Iraq doing a 15 month tour. DH told me my trip was my Christmas gift - which it is - but I just couldn't help myself!!! Oh well - he will get over it - and I will be having a BLAST with my new toy!!!! Now I just hope it gets here before I have to leave.....otherwise I'll be in Hawaii and my new toy will be calling to me from Wisconsin!!! ~dream sequence~ Pam.....where are you?.....Why won't you play with me?......Don't you like me?.....I have all kinds of fun things you can do with me......Why won't you play with me?.....~end of dream sequence. I'll be in Hawaii with this cricut cricket chirping in my head and won't be able to relax and have fun!!! (Well, I'm sure I'll forget about it once I am there. Oh the pressure of a paper craft artist!!!!)

I waited for ever for this window to load, and I forgot what I was going to say. I guess I am talking on way to many threads at once.

I think I was going to welcome all the new cricut owners. In one Reply.

ANd to say I think its okay to have it wait in the box while you are on vacation... I wish I had something to wait in a box why I went to Hawaii. Well maybe some day. You'll have some neat stuff to scrapbook when you get back I'm sure. So pretend its research!

Welcome Pam! Congrats on your new bug. Did you get the original cricut or the expression? Your DH will just have to get over it! Watch out this thread is gonna cost you a lot of money. You have been warned. Just ask some of the other gals that have only been here a week or so. Have a great trip to Hawaii and I'm sure your bug will wait patiently for you while you are gone.

There are always sales like this going on. Quite frequently Michael's has the carts at $50. They will go down to $45 and even $35 at times. So hold off until the next big sale. The lady at Michael's said that, at her store, the carts go on sale for $35 twice a year. Yea!

You are right about asking the right person. Glad I had a chance to go back!

Forgive my ignorance. What is a BIA? I really shouldn't ask because then I am going to have to go out and buy one.

Welcome to all the new cricut owners! Get ready for a lot of fun. I second hart2heart's sentiment. This thread has a wonderful bunch of enablers. You will find more ideas and needs for carts than you ever thought. In case you didn't see it, creativexpress.com is having a huge sale. If you buy 4 or more cartdriges, they are $27 a piece. With shipping, they come to about $29 a piece.

BIA = Bind It All

I don't own one either. Yep, that's right, another thing Robyn doesn't own. Most of my money has been going into Cricut stuff only. I don't mind, though, I don't think I need a BIA. Now HUSH about it or I will want one!

Not sure if this is the correct place to post - I posted on the FAQ thread as well - I am on the fence with the expression, but I have a cartridge question. Is there a cartridge that makes an oval shape besides the George cartridge? And I am looking for an oval shape without a hole for a tag. Also - can you place a piece a precut card size piece of cardstock on the mat and cut a circle, square, oval, etc. in the front of the card in a precise place? I guess what I am asking is will I be able to do that like I do with a hand punch in the lower right corner (For instance) of a card? Make sense??

Glad I could help. There's a website, I think it's called zuttersisters.com that has all kinds of info and little movie clips about how to use the BIA, too. Sounds like you have had a lot to celebrate lately!

ANd to say I think its okay to have it wait in the box while you are on vacation... I wish I had something to wait in a box why I went to Hawaii. Well maybe some day. You'll have some neat stuff to scrapbook when you get back I'm sure. So pretend its research!
LOL!!!!!!! (Sorry, I couldn't help it! lol)

See, I told you, LOL!!! You have time to get your stuff organized and ready to go once you're able to get that box opened, though.

Wow - $35 twice a year! That would be great! (and expensive too, LOL!)

Oh sorry, a BIA is a bind-it-all. I've been using mine a lot to make mini scrapbooks, post-it note holders, and chipboard calendars. There's a website called zuttersisters.com that's full of info on the bia.

No joke about the expensive part. Like I tell my husband, you have to spend money to make money!

Has anyone used the markers to draw the princesses? I was just wondering how that would look.
