Default What kind of paint do you use to paint chipboard?

I have used Delta Creamcoat Acrylic paint and I'm finding that it doesn't apply very even. Is there something better?

I use the Making Memories paints. But I think they are just the same acrylic paints but in pretty, much more expensive bottles. ;)

I use the sponge applicators and do two coats. I seem to get better, less streaky coverage that way.

I also use the Making Memories, and I agree with babydal57: acrylic paint in pretty bottles. I've also been soaking the chipboard onto my stamp pads and getting great coverage.

I didn't change paints. But I found that it using a foam brush instead of a bristle brush makes the paint go on smoother. Also, thinning the paint down just a bit and applying two coats is smoother. Hate waiting, but it's worth the extra time.

I didn't like the way paint saturated the chipboard. Kinda made it look warped sometimes. I started using the Stampin' Up! craft ink and a sponge, and I love the way it works. I did break down and buy some hospital-type rubber gloves so I didn't have to worry about staining my hands.
