I purchased craft inkpads back in feburary and I had figured I would use them as I scrapbook -- well they're just sitting there and haven't been used for at least 95% of the families. So I am looking for list of what I can use the craft inkpads for?
I figured if that I can't justify why I bought those then I might need to get rid of them. I even have the refills for them too. So can anyone help?
i have used them to emboss boefore. you can stamp an image in craft ink, then sprinkle with clear embossing powder ( or iridescent ice or hologram highlights) and emboss. this was its like you have embossing powder in every color.
You can use them to color chipboard and to stamp on the covers of the linen scrapbooks.

craft inks are all I have. I have the spots and now need the reinkers and brights, so if you dont find enough reasons to keep them (which I doubt!), keep me in mind ;)
I like to emboss with clear powder like what was already mentioned. It really adds a bit of depth and is like an embellishment all on its own.
it blends nicely, which is great for sponging onto the edges of cardstock for adding some depth
use with a fantastix blender or Dove pen to make a coloring device(I still have yet to try this, so I cannot testify to the result). Mytime has a blog entry where she colored with versamagic inks (a pigment ink like craft) to do this. read here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
No I haven't changed my mind just yet -- I'm weeding through several messages about them to see what all was suggested. I'll post my answer; hopefully this afternoon.
Sorry I'm here now for a few minutes before I jet off to take my oldest son to his baseball game.. I tried playing around with them. there's only 2 effects that I like about this is the chipboard and the embossing with it, but other than that that's it. I don't think it's really wise for me to hold on to them since I don't use whole lot of chipboards or embossing that much.
*sigh*
I'll post more this evening after I get home from the ballgame and get the kids settled in bed.
