Did anyone go crazy this past week ordering sketch markers before the MAP went into effect? I must have placed 5 small orders panicing about the price increase! LOL Anyone else feelin guilty??

I am trying to decide to place an order now...but I ordered twice last week, once from Carpe Diem and once from Oozak (before they ran out!). I really don't NEED more, but I keep checking my chart to make sure before the price goes up!

"Gasp!" I just counted and I now own 80 (mostly Sketch) copics. I was only going to get a few to get started, but with the order I just placed TODAY at carpediem, I will have almost 100! How did this happen!

I've placed multiple orders in the past month (I was thinking about that on my way to work last night and was a little shocked at the amount of my "investment" It didn't seem so bad spread out into multiple orders but if you look at the number of markers I now have, even at the pre-MAP prices, it was sustantial!) I didn't have any Copics and really wanted to try some so I thought I might as well jump in before the price increased. Boy, did I ever. But I'm glad I did.

Okay, I'll be the dummy here! I have the first three sets of Copic Ciaos and then saw here somewhere that Carpe Diem had good prices. So, I went over there and the fourth set was less than I had paid on the others and I ordered them. They came yesterday!

Now - what is MAP? Why is there a price increase? Is it on all Copics? Other stuff? I have no clue what you all are talking about LOL!!

MAP, I believe stands for "minimum advertised price". Apparently they (Copic?) are starting to enforce companies that sell the markers to all sell for the same low advertised price (that being $4.86?) So some of us jumped on the band wagon so to speak and ordered more markers than they would have normally if the price wasn't going up. I started this POLL to hopefully alleviate some of the guilot I was feeling. I too ordered several times and it didnt seem toooo bad til I added them up! LOL I'm so glad I have company :).
