My Cricut! Mine just had a birthday-5 years last May and I still love it! I have use it so much I broke the door hinge so now it just stays open all the time and that is fine with me! I can still close it but all my friends have bought one now so he doesn't travel anymore-unless he can get the senior discounts!
MaryNSC......What are you plugging in with the new BigShot? It is a manual machine, not electric. You have my curiosity up.
Patti
It's new, though I don;t have any info on a release date.
Honestly, I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why you would want an electric Big Shot. Because it sheers "seconds" off the cutting process? OK. if you have arthyritis, perhaps this is better than gripping and turning the crank. But apart from limited circumstances I can't see how it's "better."
I'be had the "manual" one for years now, portable and easy. The thought of finding an unused outlet at a crop does not appeal to me. ;)
Location: Virginia, where we have the beach and mountains all in one state!!

My favorite tool............ is the embossing gun "stand" my husband made for me. It sits right on my counter with my embossing gun in it 24/7. No hassle of taking out and putting away. I embossing so much more now because of it.
I love the simplicity and ease of my crop-a-dile... no more banging!!! Next would be the total coolness of my BigShot. Third would be my super sharp crafting scissors. I just love precision!!!

Got a picture? I don't emboss because I do not want to hold the gun until it cools down enough to set down somewhere. It has one of those wire "standing" gizmos attached to it but I knock it over ever time.

Hands down my Perfect Layers tool. I'm obsessive about having even mats on my projects and this definitely makes that happen. I use this for 99% of my projects. I use a small quilting rotary cutting tool instead of the craft knife it came with.
OO Yes I Love Perfect Layers..I would Love to see the Heat gun holder too That your hubbie made please..I can not wait to
see that Big Shot pluged in....Credit Card yea that is a very good tool indeed..:O)
