Default Copic marker ?

Is Copic a brand name or type of marker? I went to HL and M and I didn't see anything by that name. Thanks for the help!

It is a brand name of markers. They are artist markers and I have only found them in art supply stores and not craft supply stores (if that makes sense). Dickblick.com carries them if you want to go there and see what they look like.

It's a brand. HL does carry them but they are in the artist section near the Prisma pencils. I know one of my local HL even keeps them locked in a glass cabinet in their art section. Ellen Hutchinson has then in her online store too.

Copic is a brand name, there are alcohol based and are made in three styles. It's my understanding that Hobby Lobby carrys one of their particular lines, but I'm not sure which (I don't have one nearby, but several stamping friends of mine have seen them there).. They are wonderful, because they are refillable, blendable, and you can replace the nubs. Two of the three sets are compatible with an Air Brush System, I have the line that is not, and they work wonderfully. I love them! I do know Michaels does not carry them for certain. Several people in the community are very versed on these markers, as they helped me purchase mine, so I'm certain you will get a lot of great feedback! I hope I was of some help!

HL has the Sketch Copic that is compatible with the airbrush system. The Ciao is the Copic that is not compatible with the airbrush system. I don't intend on going for the airbrush stuff but since HL has 40% coupons and I don't want so spend $6/marker I am going the slow route and getting them at HL.

I'm not much of an artist, but Copics can make me feel and look like one! I love them!
