I have been wanting this guy for quite some time and I was finally able to order it for my birthday this week. I was shipped very promptly from Hancock Fabrics and I *love* it!!! I read Gina K's tutorials as well as the instruction manual before I started and it was as easy as pie. My experience with sewing is very minimal and I still thought it was easy. I can't wait to incorporate stitching into my cards!!
If you're looking for a good machine at a reasonable price, this one is great!
I got mine on sale for $39.99 + 10% off!! If you watch the sales--you can too!!
Good for you! I have that little machine, too, and I like it a lot.
I've sewed for years and have a big Singer in another room, but wanted the Sew Mini just to sew on my cards.
I know you will have fun with it.
PS - I'm just down the road from you in OKC. My granddaughter got married at the Marland Mansion a couple of years ago. You have a beautiful little town!

That's so cool! I've only been to the mansion once--but I hear it's a popular place to get married. I haven't lived here that long, just around a year. My husband works for Conoco and thus, we live here.

Wow! Congrats on your new toy & Happy Birthday!
I've really been thinking about getting one of these. I want to sew on my cards and SB pages so much...but I don't really know how to sew very well...so I'm a little torn. That's a great price...how did you get an additional 10% off? Thanks!
One teeeeeensy word of caution....if you decide to put up the hem on your jeans? Don't get all lazy and think the cute little Janome is a good choice. <sigh> It WILL break. <sigh> It really isn't intended for heavy duty sewing.
