I own 0, 1, 3, 5, and 7 in C and W, and 0, 2, 4, 6 in T. I don't know that I need to get any of the darker colors since the 6 and the 7's get pretty dark when you layer on the color. I prefer the T's and the W's over the C's.

The T0 is my favorite to use as a shadow under a person, I use the C's for metal items, and the T's and W's for people or animal hair/fur. I will use any of them for clothing, depending on what other colors are being used with it.

I don't own any of the N's yet since they were out of stock the last time I put in an order. I plan on getting 0, 2, 4, and 6, but am not in any big hurry since the other 3 give me a good range of shades.

I would start HERE on Marianne's blog, but if you have the time it would be helpful to start reading through her blog. You'll find it ever so useful. You can do searches on her blog at the very top left as well.

How come Oozak doesn't have any markers in stock? I guess they are still waiting for that big shipment they thought would come a while ago. It is great that their prices are still low

Just got my latest order from Carpe Diem today. Now I've got over 130 Sketches, so I think I'm done for awhile. Gotta practice more with what I've got. Also got 4 refills.

Default Copic for Almost Amethyst

I got an order today from Carpe Diem, I love it when new Copic Sketch markers arrive. They had a note on my invoice that B63 is no longer available.

Does anyone have an alternate color I could use for Almost Amethyst?

Ask him to make it $80. They've gone up in the amount for free shipping. It's $80 now instead of $50 at carpediemstore.

Ok ladies, fess up...just how many markers did you purchase the past 30 days in anticipation of the price increase? Also how many seperate orders did you make? I bet the Copic retailer made a fortune just from SCS members alone!

I ordered 4 different times and went from 0 - 102!

1st order I thought I would just get the SU color matches that I use the most.
2nd order I needed all of the rest of the SU matches and In Colors.
3rd order I needed gray and earths for people & animals.
4th ordered I realized I needed more light colors.

Super addictive, but I have a great assortment now and after getting Memento ink and Gina K paper have been coloring up a storm. I have a long way to go in the coloring department!

Just one custom set of 72 from Period Style but I have a running wish list and I had a few already

As of February 26th, I had 207 of them (boughten over a whole year). Then on the 27th I ordered the rest of the colors I needed - minus the grays and florescent ones. So now I have a total of 271. Only 51 markers more to go!

Ok...thought I would share this with you all...I was not going to buy copics ever when I first saw the price...but then I saw this Sarah Kay image on a blog...colored so stinkin' cute...and I emailed about the colors used...and placed my first order back in October I think...maybe September.

Anyway, a whole lotta markers later I FINALLY ordered myself that image I saw that hooked me on them in the first place.

So...here is my very own *First Kiss* all colored in my own style...

Thanks for letting me share!!

Wow, that looks so great! You did an awesome job with your coloring. I just ordered "A Kiss For Chloe." I just love the charming look of these cute little country kids. Your card is perfect.

Beautiful card, and I love that image too. That, and the "Daisy" one may get me to fork over the Pounds for shipping

Oh, that is sooooo cute!!! You did a fantastic job coloring it!!

Hopefully tomorrow I'll get some good "tips" how to blend better that I currently do. I am going to the Copics Certification tomorrow in Camp Hill. I was soooo excited when I saw they were having on so close to me (as in less than 2 miles from my house!!!!). Needless to say, I registered for this right away!!

I'm jealous, closest to me are Buffalo (3 1/2 hrs) Albany (2 1/2 hrs) and NH is even further! It's a hobby for me, no design team or anything, so the $$ could be used for more markers.

I'm pretty much a hobby person also, but the owner of my LSS wants me to start teaching with the copics. So, I figure I'll get the $$ back eventually.

I was the one that showed the copics to the owner and she is starting to carry them now. May be a bad thing for my wallet!!! LOL!!

OMGosh! This is so awesome!!!!!

What DP is that????
I'm keeping a scrapbook of my mom's chocolate lab (I gave him to her as an early retirement (and you can't change your mind because the dog needs you-LOL!) gift. I have been collecting and collecting all the canine DP I can find, but I don't think I have this!

Your coloring is just phenomenal!

our last independant LSS just closed, I used to teach at 2 different ones, had a great deal with first one, but she's been out of business for 5 years, then another real close to me went under, and I taught at this last one for a time, but she was more scrapbooking and never got a huge stamping inventory. I'll miss her papers tho. We have Mike's, ACM and Joann's but I'm not interested in working with them :^( I'd like your set up!

Thanks!! The DP is the DCWV Pets Stack.....full of fun, glittery, pet-themed papers!! I got mine at Joann, on sale of course

This one has been around for a long time. Hopefully they don't go under. I've been helping them get "up to date" items though. They now carry nesties - I show them the nesties last fall and they fell in love with them. They are so pleased since they can't keep them in stock now!!! They places their first copics order a few weeks ago and have people asking when they are going to be available - so hopefully they sell good for them also.

I knew he was going to be cute to color when I ordered him last week! That is just too cute a card and coloring! I just keep hoping the rush is over at High Hopes and that I will get my order ASAP but with their images are so cute I'm certain I'm not the only one.

Anyway, a whole lotta markers later I FINALLY ordered myself that image I saw that hooked me on them in the first place.

So...here is my very own *First Kiss* all colored in my own style...

Thanks for letting me share!!
Great job and very cute stamp - I really don't need another stamp company addiction.

I'm like you, I've been spending more time shopping, organizing and being on SCS than stamping! d'oh!

I'm jealous!
One question, when you registered on the website, did you get any response right away? I've registered for one in Ohio and have not heard anything back (but it's not technically open to the public either)...
