Hello,
Beyond the two sizes of circles and squares, I want to add to my set of punches. I am going to an SU event tomorrow night. What is your most versatile punch? What is your favorite? I am seeking ideas ...
I am madly in love with the word window punch. I think it is very versatile. I do love all my punches though. My second most used would be my tag punch and the new tag corner & ticket corner punches compliment the tag punch so nicely. They make for great layers.
Love, love, love my word window punch. Use it all the time. My tag punch is a close second. And I also love my new oval punches! LOL Do you think I have some sort of addiction? :-)
I would also say the word window punch as my #1 ... then the tag punch ... but I too want the oval punches, but at $20.00 a piece (Canadian), it will be a while before I own them both.
I'll join the rest and say Word Window and/or Tag Punch. Both have tons of things you can do with them. If you do a quick search in the forums, you'll find some listings.
I love all our punches but one of my favorite is definetly the word window punch. Another punch that I think is a 'must have' is the 1/16" punch if you like to add brads to your cards as embellishments. It's not as exciting as the word window punch but it's the right size for the brads.
The word window is fantastic, especially if you're doing spinner cards. I really like the daisy punch I use it on many of my cards with a brad for the center.
Word window wins in my book. You can make pop-up cards, spinner cards, punch out the window, make little foldy tab bits, and even if you were very patient punch like the ticket punch. The tag one would be super cool for christmas tags though.
My favorite is the Spring Bouquet Flower punch. I mostly use the tag punch, corner rounder and the word window punches. I use the flower punch with scraps of patterned paper to see what kinds of flowers I can get.
My favorites (besides the circles, ovals, and squares) are:
Daisy
Spring bouquet
Tag
Keytag
horizontal slit punch (looks like word window but small)
but not in that order! ;) I love them all and I find that I use punches on almost everything!
Another vote for the word window punch. It works well with EFP and ExFP. It's great for making spinner cards. You can make an embellishment by folding it around a layer of card stock. It's very versatile, IMHO!
those with the tag punch - have you tried the tag corner punch - it seems like you would be able to make all different size tags with the corner punch where the reg. tag punch is one size only... i'm only asking because i was going to get the corner one...
I use my word window punch the most.
But, must say that my flowers (non-su) pull a close second.
And, I just got the Uchida snowflakes... *joyful giggle!*
