Default Quickutz from QVC

So I ordered the Quickutz set on QVC. I was a little embarassed to admit that at first, since I already own the tool! But I loved the font and the shapes. So I received it today and was very surprised to find that they have improved the tool! It is huge and I guess that makes the squeeze shorter for the person using it, if that makes any sense. What suprises me is that I have been receiving the updates from Quickutz ever since I got the tool, about three years ago, and never noticed that particular tidbit. I guess that I must not have paid much attention since I am more interested in the dies, anyway. My only complaint with the QVC set is that they packed the tool in this lame-o, cheap-o box, no label or anything, with some styrofome (sp?) inside. I guess they are forcing me to get the tote because I simply cannot keep that ugly box! And I don't like to keep it on my table. Any other (cute/practical) storage solutions?

Yes, you can store it on MY table in my 10x12 stamp room. What a great idea!!! I will keep it nice and clean. Of course, I will have to use it regularly so it still feels loved. I'll expect you in 15 minutes since that is how far you live from me.

Are you talking about the one that was the Today's Special Value last week? I thought that came with it's own case! My friend got hers yesterday and that was one of the things she liked best...the zippered case.

The zippered case is only for the dies. I don't plan on "storing" mine -- it will sit on my shelf next to my Sizzix and Sidekick for easy access. Mine arrived today too and I LOVE it!!
