For the SU aficionados, I'd say something with Wild Wasabi!

I thought that I was the only one planning my Christmas cards already! I will be using Baroque Motifs with purely pomergranate and wild wasabi. I will also be embossing my sentiment in gold. I just bought the gold embossing powder today on a therapy shopping trip alone at AC Moore. I am having a workshop in early September where I will be getting two packages of each color cardstock. I can't wait to start!

Purely Pom and Wild Wasabi sound pretty! I'm all for unconventional colors this year so I'm not really sure what mine will be!

I'm thinking Olive & Guava, or Pretty in Pink, Pom, & Wasabi

I'm using colors inspired by ribbon I found after Christmas last year - a chartreuse with a raspberry-ish stitch running down the middle. The card will be in the raspberry color with a chartreuse scalloped oval, image stamped on vanilla layer & a variety of fun DP strip behind this. Haven't decided if the DP will be Cbug embossed or not. It just grabed me & hasn't let go!

I'm doing a bunch in different shades of blues so I can include my cuttlebug snowflake folder!

Last year I went with leftover wedding cardstock, perfect and pale plum. See HERE for the picture. I'm still deciding this year, but I am pretty sure I will be doing something more traditional this year and going with the basic red and green. I'm leaning toward something like THIS or THIS.

I haven't really thought about it, but I really do love the Purely Pomegranate. I may go with blue this year though.

I usually use red. One year I used Navy and Burgandy, but I always go back to red.

I haven't decided for sure- but I'm looking at the 'Blizzard' paper in the Holiday mini and thinking that might be an interesting theme colour set. I do want to do quite a bit of snowflake stuff.
I don't do a tremendous amount of cards and things.

Oh, you all sound so organised and disciplined with colour schemes and I wish I could be the same * sigh *
No doubt my cards will be red, green, pink, blue, lilac - as they are every year - a jumbled mix, no cohesion! Not all those colours on the one card though LOL!
I still have quite a bit of Doodlebug DP from last year so definitely red and green cards. And there will be lots of blue cards 'cos I love snowflakes and snowmen.
So Alex, what will you be using?

I'm thinking I may use Sage Shadow with copper this year. I have a pretty snowfake punch that made up some great tags last year. I always try to do something a little bit different than the traditional red and green. I also love Always Artichoke and Burgundy for holiday cards.........so dressy. Whatever I make, I will try to keep it as FLAT as possible to avoid paying additional postage.

I'm digging a mint green with dark red color combo lately. But we'll see if that will last until I get going on my cards

Im making several different cards, one will have a mellow moss and crisp cranberry, that's the only one I know for sure!
I am waiting to get the holiday mini before I make my order and lock in my Christmas cards.
