Default Help Please, Any opinions on VersaMagic pigment inks?

Hey ladies...just wondering if anyone has any opinions on Versamagic pigment inks? I have started working at a scrapbook store that is expanding their rubber stamp section. I am helping pick the stamp and accessories. Since I have been with SU for so long, I don't have much experience with other brands.
I will have to say, that this experience has made me appreciate the "We have everything you need in one place" concept of Stampin' Up! It isn't that easy trying to pick and choose from hundreds of companies! And I find myself wishing for things SU! has...like two-sided scrubs pads that aren't white!!!

I have one color (so far!) of VersaMagic Multi-surface chalk ink. It is wonderful!

Does the store carry Brilliance pads? I have 10 of those and hope to collect more soon! They are pigment ink. The Graphite Black is fabulous....so very black. The metallic colors are great. They dry completely and you can't rub off any. When you use Brilliance ink for polished stone, you don't have to seal it!

HTH,
Anita

Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em! I really love all the versa* products!
The VersaFINE are the absolute best for any fine line, detail stamps,
especially fine line words.

I love the VersaCOLOR ones, but I haven't played with the Versamagic inks. I will say that I LOVE stamp stores that stock minis, so I can have lots of colors to play with for less $. Also, I have 4 stamp store within a 30 minute drive of me, but I shop almost exclusively at the one that stocks REINKERS. Those things are hard to find (for reasons I don't understand) and the store that stocks them gets my business. Just a thought.

Great information! You guys are best for getting questions answered!

We will be stocking the cubes in 26 colors. I will be checking into the re-inkers. Problem is, the store owner doesn't know anything about stamping and the store specializes in scrapbooking. I'll have to prove to her the stamping will be a successful addition to the already crowded, busy store! Challenging! I plan on lots of colorful displays and demos.

Anyone have any ideas about a better stamp scrub pad?

I have one full-size pad of VersaColor, and four mini-pads. I have mixed opionions. My full-size ink pad didn't work very well, I couldn't get a very good image on solid stamps. It was a beautiful blue (brilliant blue like) but I never got good crisp images from it. The mini pads I bought worked much better and it was like buying Stampin' Spots - you could get a lot of colors for less $. I love their baby blue color, it was the really pale blue that I wish Stampin' Up would carry. But I can honestly say I was very unhappy with the full-sized VersaColor, and it was rather expensive too. That's my opinion.

I have 14 colors of VersaMagic. The scrapbookers should like them because they are archival. I have the range of pink to purples and a bunch of greens. The white is wonderful on dark papers.

Selling re-inkers would be wonderful, too.

I just went back to my only real LStampingS and bought my first VersaFine today. I hope it works as promised. I realized my contraband HA postage stamps don't work with SU spots or the SU brown.
