I get all of my ribbon from Creative Impressions Very classic and versatile styles/colors and they have flowers, brads, clips and other embellishments to match.

It's dangerous to look at these post, I checked out the pink hedgehog paper crafts, I so need some of that yellow and lavender gingham! |
Emily Ann,
Can we become friends? )
I agree.....it IS dangerous to look at these posts. If I spent as much time working on cards as I do looking at posts, everybody else's cards, etc., I would get a lot more accomplished! If I actually USED even half of all the supplies and tools I already own, it would be even better.
Take care, and have fun with all your ribbon. I may be looking for a swap soon. I know there was one going on a couple weeks ago, but I'm not necessarily looking for SU ribbon.

Need to vent...

Can you believe my Michaels store does not sell remnants? The only sell by the full yard, so they say there aren't any "remnants". Also, can you believe my Joann stores, by corporate policy, have to write off and throw away remnants?! I was shocked. I mentioned I would speak with a manager, and all I was told is that is corporate policy and they have been complaining to get it changed for years! Walmart had no remnants at all.
So... I am still in search of cheap ribbon. What is good price to get grosgrain ribbon by the yard at Joanns? I don't like the real wide widths, but do like stripes and polka dots as opposed to solid colors. I suppose that ups the price. I have no idea, as I haven't looked at the ribbon by the yard, only the spools.
Had to vent! Thanks for listening.

I just usually sneak into my mom's sewing room and snip from her rolls of ribbon. =) We love to share supplies! It helps justify purchases.

I was able to fit over 150 spools of ribbon into just one basket! The spools are what take up so much room. |
Great idea to store ribbon. I have some on spools, but I also have lots or ribbon and laces that I bought by the yard. I've wrapped some of it around gift wrap tubes, but then have nowhere to put them. I am also a ribbon addict.

I get my ribbon from ReasonableRibbon.com. They are very reasonable and many of the organza ribbon matches SU! They also have several sales a year! Good Luck!

Reasonable Ribbons also has a ribbon club. I just joined so I don't know exactly what you get but it was worth a shot. Take a look.

ribbon source
I had to make a lot of wedding programs recently and need 60 yards of ribbon. Someone on this board recommended www.pouchmart.com. They had great prices and awesome shipping. Check them out!
