Default in search of vellum brand recomendations

When you run out of vellum in the middle of a project. Must finish tomorrow and obviously can not get SU! in time... Where do you look? What Brand do you purchase? I have only ever purchased SU! and some cheap decorative at the Dollar tree. I started with good quality and don't want it to be real obvious that it is a different brand.

Thanks

Consider posting to this group and ask to see if there are any demos in your area who have a supply of vellum on-hand that they could sell you. If not, check your local stamping/scrapbooking store. They might have some for sale.

Just a thought.

Glitterdovefairy,

I use Vellum that I purchase at Kelly Paper. It's made by WorldWin. You can get it in many different weights and colors. It's acid, lignin and chlorine free (in case you're using it in your scrapbooking). HTH

JoAnn has an inexpensive package of vellum that is acid free, etc. It looks a lot like stampin up's vellum paper, not their cardstock.

I am in the middle of making lamp shades for wine glasses so I need it to be heavy enough not to flop around and loose shape

I have used the WorldWin vellum from Kelly Paper for my lampshades...I have used both the 27# and the 40#. I was just at Kelly today and they have TONS of packs of vellum. Lots of printed vellum and also lots of colors and even pinstripes in small packs (I think there's 10-15 in the package). HTH and good luck!!

I have seen different weights available at Hobby Lobby in packages of white and off-white. Seems to me there were several patterns available also.
