CB Embossing preorder- has anyone gotten
 

Has any one gotten their Cuttlebug preorder embossing folders from Ohmycrafts yet? I haven't even gotten any emails or any kind of communication stating if they are in or when they might be shipped. I hope the come soon or I at least get an email from them. I hate waiting for something I have already paid for.
Not sure if I will do any business with Ohmycrafts anymore after this...... I have been hearing some negative feedback about their customer service lately.

Not me. I bought some of the new CB embossing folders from Joann.com last week and I already got them. That's what I get for being impatient and pre-ordering items when I know some of the bigger stores will carry them once the items are out in the market... a lesson I keep getting every now and then!

I haven't received mine yet. From what's on their website info, I got the impression they may ship this week or next week. This is the first order I've placed with them and I have to say I'm really unhappy with their customer service (or lack thereof) so far - they haven't answered either of my two emails and there is no phone number to call them. :(

i preordered 9 folders on may 29, 2008, 6 of which were considered holiday/seasonal. i did receive the 3 nonseasonal/holiday folders on july 23. it is my understanding from oh my crafts that the holiday/seasonal folders weren't being released until mid august.

also, i understand that orders were shipped in the order they were received. meaning, may orders shipped before june, etc.

hope everyone gets their goodies soon.

I ordered May 31, and received my new CB folders and dies a few days ago.
I didn't get the seasonal things, yet; but didn't expect them for another week or two. I did order from Oh My Crafts, and must admit I had some concern after seeing negative comments. I'm pleased to say that I've had no problem so far. I'm very happy to get the new folders. I hope you get your order soon. Eileen

I'm anxiously awaiting my new embossing folders as well. I'm quite disappointed as to the lack of communication from them as well.

I received the release#4 one's a week or so ago. In the email that came out today there was this little blurb.

Seasonal Designs begin shipping this week! Release #4 designs � now shipping JULY pre-orders!

The new seasonal cuttlebug folders were probably released Aug 1 - I received them on Aug 3 or 4th from Cut@Home. The non-seasonal ones were shipped to me the week before that. The combo (die cut/enboss) seasonals have not been received by Cut@Home yet, unless I missed an e-mail update.

Sorry you haven't received yours yet, that's discouraging. :( Hope you hear something from the company soon. Good luck with this order.

Got mine from CropStop.com -- arrived in just a few days after the shipments reached the U.S.A. Holiday ones are not here yet.

I too ordered the new folders (not Christmas/halloween) at the end of June. I am not happy with their customer service, distinct lack of. I have checked and rechecked my order history and it still says processed. Yet in their news it says they are now shipping July. Why hasn't it changed to shipped ?
It is going to be my first and last time with them. I am going to order through u cut at home in future, Their customer service is excellent, it can't be beaten.

I ordered mine on 8/1 from Creative Express--and they are on their way right now according to tracking and I should have them on Friday. Some are the Christmas and some are the fall ones, plus other new general releases.

Considering I have a graduation party to prepare for Saturday (son is getting his Masters Degree), it's a good thing they won't get here until I have all that prep done!!!!!

I received my pre-order ones from OhMYCrafts a few weeks ago!

Just waiting for the Holiday ones now.

I haven't received mine yet, but am not really in need of them until the beginning of Sept anyway, so I am in no hurry. As long as they are here before Labor Day I will be happy!

I ordered some last week from Oh My Crafts. Some have shipped - the others are pre-orders that haven't been released yet. I expect them sometime in Sept.

I just received an email last night that mine were shipped and they were the holiday that I preordered in late May.

I got mine mid July....I did preorder them early from OMC...

I, to, placed my pre-order late May, sent 2 emails and got no response for either. I'm with the 'not too happy' bunch. I think its rude to ignore our emails. Just hoping I do get them soon. Don't think I will order from them again, since there are sooooo many other places we can get our goodies!!

I have not had good luck receiving orderd from Oh My Crafts. I ordered July folders from allthatscraps and got them today. It took 1 week!! I will do business with them again. FREE shipping over $10!!

I pre-ordered from OMC too and received the first batch a week or so ago and am waiting on the seasonal ones. I agree they have horrible customer service and have decided I will not be ordering from them again.

I'm in the same boat as everyone else. Still waiting for my OMC pre order from May, or a reply to an email of two weeks ago. Other sites started selling the holiday folders last week. Some of them have real fast shipping. If I had waited and order from one of these sites I would have them by now. Lesson learned! I won't jump on the OMC pre order ban wagon again!

I got mine from Cut at Home. The halloween ones are super cute. I hope you all get them soon.

I preordered from Oh My Crafts, and got the first batch back in July of the nonseasonal ones. I emailed them about the seasonal folders and they answered me the same day. The seasonal won't ship until mid-August, but I was also one of the first to preorder - the same day they posted it.

Wrong information - the email I received was from JK Crafts re my order in late May. I also ordered from O MY Crafts in early July seasonal ones and have heard nothing about that although I get an email everyday about specials they are having. Gets a little old.

Mine finally came today!

I think that the differences in when people are getting the folders has to do with when the vendor ordered the folders from Provo Craft. If an online store placed their order right away (without even waiting for customer pre-orders), their shipment would arrive sooner from Provo Craft. Provo Craft processes vendor orders in the order that they were received. So when Provo Craft runs out of stock, vendors who ordered later have to wait until Provo Craft is back in stock. (I'm not making excuses for OMC, just hoping to explain some of the process.) :)

Hi. Can you please tell us what email address you used to contact Oh My Crafts? Maybe we're using an incorrect email address for them. They don't have a phone number listed anywhere on their website that I could find or I would give them a call.

I preordered mine in early May 2008. The shipping date isn't what I find disturbing, it's the lack of communcation from OMC that has me concerned.

I am still waiting my "pre ordered dies" to arrive...I placed my "pre order" on June 3 for 14 of the new release items...I am in Australia...some others here in Australia have received their orders a few weeks ago & they had placed their order in May. Someone else mentioned that the overseas orders were going out first before the USA ones. I have no idea if this is indeed true...I emailed OhMyCrafts a couple of weeks ago to ask about my order & when it will arrive & Amie (she seems to be the contact person there) sent back an email, which I really think is just a generic email that said my order would be sent the end of the week...which would be last week...so usually it takes about 7-10days to get items from USA to Sydney, Australia. Hope it comes sometime soon...people here in Australia are already selling all the new release stuff on ebay...but it's worth the wait for me to buy from OhMyCrafts as they're a lot cheaper then anything here in Australia...everything gets marked up about another 50% here when they're sold on ebay...guess everyone wants to make a quick buck!

I received my embossing folders yesterday. I ordered 7: swiss dots, leafy branch, floral fantasy, houndstooth, number collage, diamonds in the rough, and shell collage - they all came. Here is the shipping info - I don't know if this is a third party shipper or not, but FYI:

At this point I'm just venting......SOOOOOO frustrated and disappointed.....

I called them yesterday during their business hours and got their answering machine. Their answering machine requested that we send them an email rather than call, so I left them a message that I had sent multiple emails and received no response to any of them I left detailled info on the machine including my email address and my phone number and I had neither a call nor an email from them today. I'm doing more than just checking on my order (placed and paid for on May 25th) - I made a mistake and ordered 2 of one of the items and I'm asking them to please let me know if we can change the quantity from 2 to 1. NO HELP whatsoever.......this is really awful. I guess I'll feel very fortunate if and when I finally get these items (their canned message on their machine said they were shipping in the beginning of August) and I will have to add myself to the list of those who won't order from them again.

i cancelled my order with ohmycrafts over a week ago......they kept saying items were being shipped according to your place in the queque.....i ordered from busybee and from crazyscraps the day i cancelled and i received both shipments in 5 days !

ohmycrafts refunded my credit card. i thought that was low to charge for items not shipped....and i dont know if they ever would have been shipped !! not going there again.....that is a shame for them....you cant treat customers like that and survive these days

I got an email from UPS that my order from SPS Consulting was shipped and I would receive it on Friday. I was unclear what I ordered from SPS Consulting, but after reading this thread, it must be my holiday pre-order from Ohmycrafts. I preordered on May 23. I've been pretty happy with Ohmycrafts. I think they have stuck to what they have advertised with the preorders.

Woo Hoo! I ordered 2 days after you, SO I should be getting my notice on Thursday!!!!!!!!!

I pre-ordered all my dies and folders from the July release and the August release holiday dies and folders from Scrappyland in June and they all came within two weeks of each other. I just got the holiday ones yesterday.
