Has anyone seen the scalloped oval giga punch online recently?

A wonderful stamper on a board made me a bunch when they first came out and I couldn't find the punch locally, I'd like to return the stampfavor ;)

I don't live in Canada but I have not found a site that has the scallop oval in stock. I would love to know too if someone has it. Thanks.

I haven't seen it & I *have* been looking for a (Cdn.) online source. I also sometimes work for a LSS (local scrapbook store) & I asked her if she could order some. Well, her *huuuge* American wholesaler is currently out of stock on these!

Please don't get too frustrated; the *majority* of us are without these and are also *still* looking.

Wouldn't it be great if Coluzzle came out with a template? Or a die for a die-cut system? ;)

Here's hoping some Canadian out there has other suggestions on where to find these!

Coluzzle has some scalloped shape templates but I think they are a little smaller than the giga and mega punched shapes, plus to cut them out you have to pull out and reinsert the knife for each scallop. I've done it a few times for the scalloped bookplate shape, and it's not so horrible, but a punch is much faster and consistent.

I've seen some wonderful, large scalloped circles produced by I think the Wishblade or one of those other electronic cutting machines but that is a little out of reach for most stampers I think.

I am completely boggled as to WHY ProvoCraft or somebody hasn't produced a scalloped circle and oval die! It would be so much lighter, easier to store, etc etc than those huge punches! I wonder if Marvy has some kind of protection on that shape or something.

I couldn't find scallop punches anywhere in canada. I requested my LSS to order scallop circles for me.
Wait and see how long it takes.

Btw, if you are in or around Mississauga ONT, Cherished scrapbooks has mega scallop oval + mega+giga plain ovals.

Fran ships to Canada...franticstamper.com. I ordered 6 scalloped punches through her (the square, oval and the circle all in the mega and giga sizes) and the package arrived within 1 week. Fran was lovely to deal with....great customer service! The ones I bought were also the Clever lever ones, too. I adore these punches and haven't stopped using them since I received them before Christmas. I tried to find a Canadian source, but couldn't find anything before I decided to purchase from Fran. If you do a search for franticstamper.com, you will find many posts recommending her.
