Somewhere I have seen mention of a fabulous tool for poking out the little pieces from detailed dies. It had two ends to it (not sure why) and I think it is pink (but might not have been). But I can't for the life of me track it down or remember what it's called. Can anyone help?

I use my piercing tool ... but only after I have used wax paper on the die, either by wiping the die with it before cutting or putting the wax paper between the cutting edge of the die and the cardstock I'm cutting. Usually after I poke through a few of the tiny holes, I can slide the piercing tool between the die cut and the die and gently lift the die cut away from the die. It all sounds much more involved and laborious than it really is.
I have lots of "real" tools.......... both the picks mentioned above...... but my go-to tool is a turkey pin aka turkey lacer...... available in the butcher dept of the grocery store........
I use all of the above. Recently broke my MM steel paper piercer and replaced it with the TH Tonic retractable piercer. Looks pretty sturdy. The Quickkutz Stik is great for picking up small item. The hat pin, etc. work great for smaller holes and/or light weight materials.

I use a dental tool that you can buy at your local supermarket...it comes with a dental mirror as well, but the fine pick is fantastic for this very thing!
